I can’t comment on footballers but even on a one off I can be sacked
Wrong comments on social media have proved people’s downfall where I work.
He may have a case for constructive if he could prove he was treated different to others.
You have got to assume being found guilty in a court of law for assault of a woman is pretty bad rep wise
I know I would be sacked for that, Suarez was not found guilty in a court of law so I would imagine constructive could not be proved ?
I am not certain on this btw just thinking out loud

I don't dispute its a sackable offence, it is. Nor would I be bothered if he were sacked, he's out of contact in the summer anyway.

However, Firmino wasn't sacked, how can you claim what Flanno did is worse than drink driving?

Not paying out of your own pocket though. You'd have paid the same for a pint if the match hadn't been on. In fact, since there are often offers on during football matches, the pint may have cost more any other time.

    I’m not claiming anything
Think we probably seeing this the same from opposite sides - I just didn’t think they were being discriminative (me too now :) )
I think it is sackable too but if there is anything which could be used as constructive (I have no idea about the firmino driving incident) but if he was found guilty in court - yeah they would have had to have sacked him too.
As you say contract up so they probably doing best thing.
If they wanted to set a new line though they could sack him as he has beaten a woman a take the discrimination case on and claim they had decided that as of now any club individual who does not behave in a manner becoming of the club - whoever it may be will be sacked.
They would however probably be found guilty of constructive and they would also have to follow through.
However I would be fine with that

Hmmmmm I see your point but that is on a selective grounding imho.
    Bit like some vegans/vegetarians :)
I think it is almost too hard to take stances nowadays - would love to but gets complicated.
No dodgy grounding with kodi though as watching matches through it is illegal :)
Not that I have it but I know someone who used to :bandit:

Morally, sacking is the right thing to do, but what happens when Salah, Mane or the next Suarez slaps their mrs? Would we have sacked Coutinho had he been fib guilty over Christmas? It's a dangerous path for the club to choose when talking about £100m+ assets!

With the ref where he was and the recording this must be an open and shut case, guilty or not guilty, the delay makes me very suspicious

It isn’t, both are shameful. But one is out on f contract and the other is a valuable asset.

Guess which one won’t be at Liverpool in September.

Flanno would be turned into a UFC £100m asset if they did men v women fights.

They do do men v women fights.
See Fallon Fox, changed to a woman, after being 30 years a man and a former soldier.
He\she smashed his\her opponent's eye socket in during an MMA fight.

to be fair to MMA, Fallon didn't tell them She was in fact a He

also, I think they still allow former men to fight women in MMA, the women's champ refused to fight Fox, and rightly so
