For ****s sake...

  1. Why do peoples emotions change so rapidly?

Everyone was doom and gloom before the season, there were people taking the specialists predictions seriously that we'd struggle. People were crying.

2 good results and everyone is jizzing their pants.

Now SSN report Barton has permission to talk to QPR and everyone is ****ting themselves again?

He's in talks with QPR, which means he's listening to offers, if this is even true and not just typical bullshit from SSN.

This doesn't mean he's closer to going, it means he's just hearing what they have to offer.

    For ****s sake.

Calm down and stay positive <ok>

Lets focus on the cup game on Thursday! One day at a time!

I think its a given, that he is off tbh. Judging by the comments that reporter posted on twitter. It is indeed farewell to Joey.

He said to a Newcastle fan if Newcastle don't want me then I'll have to go somewhere. He has pretty much gone Tash. This isn't the end of the world...we have Gosling!

So no-one is allowed to have an opinion on the fact we are going to lose our most influential player. We have to smile and ignore it, like some kind of stepford wife who is in denial of the fact her husband is knocking off the pool boy?!

We're all focused on the cup game, we dont need tellin'.

True points, but again your exaggeration has gotten the better of you. 'Everyone' wasn't doom and gloom before the season and 'everyone' isn't ****ting themselves now. Just some, don't worry <ok>.

  7. I never said no one was allowed to have an opinion. People start ****ting themselves too quickly is what i'm saying.

Calm the **** down. He's in talks with QPR, when Barton has agreed terms, then we can feel sad. But that's still completely different from hearing a clubs offer.

Didn't Paul Collingwood talk to Derbyshire recently stayed at Durham, so just because he talks to QPR doesn't mean he will go.

I know twitter is nothing to go by but as the minutes go by the outcome seems more and more certain. It looks like he has already accepted the offer indirectly (the one his agent has quoted to him) and he is going down there to sign...<wah>

I thought we all knew he was bound to leave? He's on the transfer market for free. Of course he's leaving!

Apparently the offer has matched or bettered his current contract so it's pretty certain he's gone

If he is listening to QPR then that means he isn't rejecting the idea, though I think it would take alot for him to go, so there is no REAL panic for you lot.

They have to offer an awful lot more than you currently are paying him, or there will be some massive appearance fee or something.

We're optimists by nature up here but we know Fat Boy and the way he operates only too well now. He is entirely focused on recouping as much of his investment as possible so he can sell the club and sod off back to Hertfordshire.

How can you not understand why some people are pissed off, the club is obviously stringing the fans along... They are getting rid of one of their best players for FREE (if not QPR probably someone else on the last day).

They have been saying for 6 months now that all of the Carroll money would be reinvested, this hasnt happened (they have lied to the fans fact!), in fact we are in profit for transfers this season which is ironically a bad thing!

We supposedly have over 40m to spend and yet they wont spend over 5mil for a position that has no natural senior player avaiable at the moment, just madness....

The sad thing is all of us on this forum know deep down there is a high chance Barton will leave and no other incoming transfers will happen!!

Wasn't everyone sticking their head in the sand just before Jose got sold as well?

I'm not a reactionary, but it's obvious Barton will end up somewhere other than NUFC come September.

What worries me is the inability we have of bringing players in..... every interest seems to stall when it comes to money.

We'll be ****ed, not because of letting Barton go, but because of being complete tight arses basically on the rob for players....

    This.

He doesn't have to leave though, that's the thing. So two people don't want him at the club, the managerial staff, players and fans want him to stay, you think that would be enough for him to see out the final year of his contract, and then do exactly what it looks like he's doing now.
