Did they completely forget about the new ABBA format?

 

Not sure why it wasn't used. I'm not a fan anyway.

I’m sure there’s a perfect reason but if they’ve forgotten then surely the penalty shootout needs retaking

 

Might be something to do with Chelsea being down to 9 I reckon.

I just assumed that they don't use ABBA in the FA Cup.

As far as I'm aware, there were never any plans to use the ABBA system in the FA Cup this season.

Football league competitions (ie the league cup, the play-offs, and the Checkatrade trophy), plus the Community Shield.

 

Er....that happened yesterday. Neymar got jeered for taking a penalty denying Cavani the chance of becoming PSG's all time record scorer.

 

Oh right, I was watching on BT, obviously a replay! Good game if you like minnows being eaten by sharks...

 

This is just getting more ****ing horrendous by the day.

Meanwhille in La Liga ..... Getafe 2, Athletic Bilbao 2. Inaki Williams on the scoresheet again, after a long barren spell in the first half of the season. Would love this guy to force his way into the Spanish World Cup squad. I'd take Inaki over Costa or Morata any day.
