Not sure about this story but first heard it 2 weeks ago then again last week, and now even more beefed up version today. Ex Leeds player Lennon has said he wants to go home. Everton have just signed Walcott so Lennon will find it even tougher to get game time. He had a breakdown last season didnt he? seems to have sorted his head out but has only started 9 times so far this season. I remember him when he broke through at Leeds to be the youngest player to get a first team start at 16yo. Little London born and bred. We are always linked to ex players but is this a good story or a could happen?

According to YEP CBJ being sent home saves us £10k per week, half a dozen overseas clubs want Klich on loan and a deal will be imminent. Seems like Grot is also being sent back to Holland on a loan deal too, which all adds up to a new striker coming in soon

You would think there is a good chance of this happening as it would suit all parties.

Loan until the end of the season and then see where it goes from there.

Fingers crossed as it would be a great signing and it would hopefully help Aaron with his off field problems to be back in the worlds greatest city.

I was wondering what Rads is going to say in regards to transfer policy in February and I'm even more convinced we will have a new striker in place by then even if it is a loan player.

I'm pretty sure Rads is going to say we are looking for 'long' term players, ruling out over a certain age unless it is a loan player and I believe he is going to advise us that we have a strong wage policy in place and of course he will mention fair play rules. I think he will touch on UK players being generally over priced hence the scouting over seas.

None of it is a bad thing, I just believe as a businessman he won't wish to go over a set amount of wages a week and we are probably near to our outgoing limit, this would tie in with the fact that we are getting snippets about freed up wages and players going out on loan or moved on.

Forshaw a £2m deal which is good business ... spoke with a Bees season ticket holder and he said Forshaw was absolutely brilliant for them ... also had a natter with Bees owner and he said Forshaw was too good for them to keep ... well done Orta for getting this done

Grot going to Holland on loan is exactly the right thing to do, let him develop some more and build his confidence ... he is a quality prospect who doesn't need to negativity of the mindless boo boys ... same for Klich

so now we've got a left back and a midfielder in, both mid-20s and experienced ... clearly Leeds are keen on a striker and Ulloa on loan would be good because he will be throwing himself about to attract interest in the Summer ... Derby offered the troubled Martin to Leeds, but his high wages and inconsistent behaviour made it a no ... striker is key now, hopefully Leeds can get deal done that fits the club

good to see we're getting two more youngsters in, even if it is only on trial for now ... nothing wrong with this policy of adding young talent to the Academy, keeps on raising the standard and gives our local young uns an idea of the technical levels the European kids have ... keep on rolling

You've signed 2 players that couldn't even get onto the subs bench of Brugge and Boro - so very much the cheap option.
Forshaw played for Brentford when they were in League 1. Sold to Wigan but couldn't get into their relegated team!

I agree with that Ristac. Think he has taken a lot of flak this month and its new to him but he can see the passion of the fans but also the frustration. This football club ownership model works all around the world, its only a battle with fans and traditional managers here. I want to see the Radz/Orta model work and think that behind the scenes with the kids you will see a lot of profit being made, with profit being the main aim and if a gem appears he moves to the first team, which adds value to the club. I expect his wage controls to stay but also think in rare occasions he will make an exception as the aim is the £150m pot of gold. Most on here wanted 3 good signings, we have had 2 and now fully expect a new striker arriving soon.

The lessons to be learned are:
    1) When a player like Klich is overlooked we need to know why. If you look on all the Leeds forums and social media you will see voices wanting to know whats happened as many fans wanted him to have a chance. Yes what we did see wasnt good but we dont know how he has been treated. More calls for him to be given a chance and not happy about him leaving
    2) TC cannot lie to fans in a presser. he cannot say he is happy with his squad when he has used as few players as Monk did last season.
    3) Using players like CBJ, Klich, Grot, Cibicki in a cup game was a bad mistake. All let him down badly but he has himself to blame.
    4) We need Radz to explain the plan regarding first team players this season and the Summer. TC must be sacked in the Summer if we dont make play offs as that is the target TC was given, unless Radz says different
    5) Was Grot for the kids, if so why was he put into the first team and then played out of position

His Brentford time was 4 years ago and league 1. Struggled to make an impact at boro for a while then featured in their promotion season and was getting good reviews in the first half of the prem season. Their season capitulated, since then 2 managers have preferred other options though he did get game time later on in Monk's run. When you consider boro's first choice midfield was outplayed by us earlier in the year, but they're prepared to let a guy in their position come to a rival, it raises question marks.

He has champ and prem experience, should be in his prime. My concern on this one is, have we targeted him for a while as a player we wanted to improve the first 11... or as a like for like replacement due to injuries/suspensions. I hope its the former not the latter... the insinuation from Phil Hay is the latter, which sounds like panic buying. We let our experienced champ midfielder go to forest on the cheap at the end of the transfer window. Is Foreshaw an improvement on Bridcutt? Dunno, guess we'll find out.

I'm glad we're 'strengthening' midfield, unsure whether it's with the quality to make a difference. Jury out for me really.

can't agree on a lot of that Doc
    1. We don't need to know why, the coach doesn't think he's up to the job. It doesn't matter what internet reviews, press reports, or locals say about his star quality or just how penetrating the penetrator was previously. He signed for Leeds for not a lot of money... there wasn't some huge clamour for his signature. It didn't work out in a foreign league. It happens. Regularly.
    2. He's protecting his players and toeing the party line.
    3. You can make that argument certainly... or you can say they did alright in the league cup.
    4. First part i agree with. Second part do you sack TC or Orta? The monkey or the organ grinder?
    5. Surely he was in the 'mid term' category. First team squad but perceived as one for the future. He was too expensive to be an u23 punt. We were told he was a striker who also played out wide. Maybe he looked great in training and couldn't reproduce? But he was played out of necessity.

Forshaw seems to be ok by reputation, but not much more than that, so I'm keeping my expectation level low.

My biggest concern with a new signing is usually whether he can cope with the pressure of being a Leeds player. In this case, I'm not so worried. He's been under pressure from Boro fans & has had his ups & downs, so should be strong enough mentally to cope (I hope!).

My biggest concern is that he's been brought in for a specialised role, and as part of a duo, he has to get an understanding with his oppo quickly. I've got a feeling that this has been the problem with Klich. I can't really fully articulate it. I wonder if it could be an ego problem, like he doesn't like a kid oppo telling him what to do or where he's going wrong, or just that he simply doesn't 'get it' being part of a 2, having been a solo most of his career. Who knows. I doubt we'll ever find out, unless he becomes well known enough to bring out an autobiography.

Age can be a big game changer and time, one of the worst ever youth players I saw as a youth player was a wimpy kid called Denis Irwin.

And don't forget,Vardy was only good enough for non-league till he was 25.
