I've heard he's paid around 250k a week after tax so 500k isn't that far off really. Absolutely disgusting.
It's 500k because Utd feel the need to show PSG and Barca they pay record wages. If it is actually 500k no wonder City et al. have pulled out. Ridiculous amount of money.
More to the point......Why do any of you give a **** what Sanchez is being paid? You guys getting a cut?
Doesn't bother me per say but it does make you sigh when you see clubs like Hartlepool desperately needing 200 grand to keep going, less than what Sanchez is on from 4 days work.
Being perfectly honest, the 500k a week does stink abit of desperation from us. And I don't even know why we should be desperate, were in a secure enough position in the table, and we're still in 2 cups. Yeah make him one of the top earners along with Pogba and De Gea, but don't go silly with the contract offer. Surely playing for Man Utd should be a enough of a lure itself without having to pay 500k a week. If he won't come for the going rate, which is probably about half that, then we should just tell him to do one.
Watching sport in general is getting beyond a joke if I'm honest, £40 for Sky, £30 for BT, £25 for the racing channel, and £20 everytime there's a decent boxing match on. And it's only going to continue to get worse.
