He did, but that was the parting gambit when the contestant had missed out of the speedboat / holiday / crockery set / cuddly toy / (insert random item at will). He said 'we move on' after each round, as I recall. Give me Bernie the Bolt any day
Strong lineup, but a tad concerned at no Tettey - Gunn; Hanley, Zimmermann, Klose; Pinto (c), Reed, Vrancic, Lewis; Maddison, Oliveira, Murphy Substitutes McGovern, Husband, Hoolahan, Stiepermann, Raggett, Tettey, Cantwell Edit - I see we're only 10/1 to win!!
I like it, although I'd have rested Madders if he let me. strong but sensible enough not to overwork Tettey, Reed better not pull up early again! Bah!
Actually General - excellent point and FAR better to rest Tettey for Saturday, as the 'knives' will be out for revenge.
So Dion (one of the MotD presenters tonight) is predicting 3-1 to Chelsea - can't really argue with that. I'll be chuffed if we can nick a goal.
The great Dion Dublin, he who once graced the hallowed turf of CR has predicted a Chelsea win 3 - 1. This could be Madders time with several PL scouts/managers in attendance. Ok, let the bidding commence - what do I hear, £20m, any advance on £20m oh yes, man at the back £25m. Any advance on £25m? We are in such sh*t that we can’t contemplate keeping our prized asset. Oh, DF says, we don’t have to sell him (but a great deal of cash may change my/SW/DS mind). Ah, but this is a transitional period, things will get better, just you wait and see. We have to go backwards to go forwards, trust me. So what is so different now then in the past few years? Oh, I know, the team will be built on young, ambitious players (also, cheap) who will drive this club forwards (only if it suits them) to at least mid-table obscurity this season. But, you may ask yourself, next season will be different, we will challenge for top 6. Meanwhile 25000 of you must turn up to support us at home this season while we get round to delivering you some entertaining, sometimes winning, football.
I like Reed. He's not as strong. But he is more mobile and more stamina. Maybe with the likes of Willian, Pedro etc who are very pacey. Maybe that's why he's gone for Reed over Tetty.
Am I right in thinking that we haven't lost in a televised game this season?? #allgoodthingscometoanend
"Norwich looked good in the first tie, going forward. Until the final third, where they lacked any cutting edge" Wow. Even the commentators summed up our season off the back of 1 match. Hope the manager and the board watch this back. STRIKERS!
