So Sanchez to Arsenal is all down to Mkhitaryan (?) going the opposite way, Sanchez(Ozil)are Arsenal's biggest earners on £140k a week, the man u player is on £5k a week more at OT.
The man u player even if he gets a wage the same as Sanchez at Arsenal won't just lose out on the extra £5k his money will be worth less in London due to the cost of living and everything being more expensive down there etc.
Unless Arsenal improve his wages why would he volunteer to go?, there's no loyalty by Utd towards him so why should he reward them by going to suit their purposes and not his own.
He'll be hated if he holds out and refuses the move because as sure as night follows day City will be in for Sanchez on a free in the summer if the proposed move to Utd breaks down.

it seems to me that agents are involved.

Arsenal have to pay utd, pay mkhitaryan and pay the agent off too.

The issue is sanchez can sign with utd now for july 1 so if he doesn't what kind of commitment is being shown.

For me mkhitaryan is being demanded by wenger as a faux show of strength and utd are quite happy to play along cos they want rid.

Wenger will wave a worldie in front of arsenal fans as sanchez slinks out the back door.

For me the reason to move is a massive loyalty bonus from utd and a signing on fee from arsenal. The lad is 28 with 2 years left on his deal. if he sees that out he will be worthless and 30 as mourinho is sticking around (according to the mancs anyway)

If he gets a few mil form each club plus a good wage for 5 years then he's quids in all round and this would be his last big move.

Don't think he'll be flavour of the month at Utd if he stays or at Arsenal if he goes, I hope he puts two fingers up to Mourinho and refuses to budge.:emoticon-0100-smile

LFC have thrown the book at Flanno, he's obviously his way out of the club but where will he end up, my money would be on Burnley or Everton as an outside bet.

"The club issued a strongly worded statement after the 25-year-old was ordered to complete 45 hours unpaid work and rehabilitation days with the Probation Service as part of a 12 month community order."

"This afternoon a Liverpool FC spokesman said: “We condemn, in the strongest possible terms, the player’s actions during the events that took place resulting in this criminal conviction.

“It leaves his own reputation damaged and, through association, he has severely let down the club he had previously represented with distinction."

“We have expressed to him our disappointment and anger that he has failed to live up to the values of Liverpool Football Club, in this specific instance.

“The club has allowed the legal formalities to reach a conclusion before deciding on or implementing any internal disciplinary action. That internal process will now begin.

“The club has no further comment to make at this time.”

Lionel Greig, defending Flanagan, told Liverpool Magistrates’ Court during the sentencing hearing: ““Hopefully his employers can give him support and advice to help deal with the issues raised on that night.”

I imagine we'll just sell Flanagan in the summer (won't call him 'Flanno' as he doesn't deserve it) the story will have died down then and he'll still be worth some money which we wouldn't get if we sacked him, and this would only unnecessarily prolong the negativity of it all

lawyer speak for the court's benefit.

They know full well the score at LFC.

Whatever it was theres no excuse for kicking anyone in the head be it in private or public so what support do they expect? counselling? bit of advice on the correct technique to kick someone?

Is it different to kicking a ball? we only teach how to kick a ball.

    nasty twat

The bellend was making something of his life in an era of austerity, he must be on a big wage, maybe not in comparison to others at the club but mega money compared to the average man in the street.
He was living a cosseted life and had the best of health treatment paid for him by the club etc, but the real him was/is obviously different to what we saw on the tv, what he did he might have done before behind closed doors and if it's in his nature he'll do again.
What a waste of talent and and a waste of oxygen.

    Good riddance.

he is according to reports. he was on 20k when injured for 2 years and on 40k a week now... not sure if he was on 40k TBH.

We just can't be sure he's never thumped anyone in private or if this is his first serious relationship cos he might get up to it in the future.

The club is clear we cant have this and then have a woman's team and be trying to give equal opportunity.

Other than about 6 months of playing ok he was never going to make it anyway. He got over hyped massively in the Suarez season, even to the point of being called 'The Red Cafu' ffs <laugh>

The reality is he's **** and a walking red card.

I think the only thing that's kept him here until now is sentiment, now that's out the window he can **** off to League 1.
