Quite obvious now that he is never going to cut it in the Premier League. If the two young boys Cook and Colback can get on the pitch before him I think he will definitely be off in the summer.

On the plus side, Sessegnon looks like he has plenty of skill and the ability to pick a pass. Think he would have had a lot more impact if our fullbacks weren't defending so deep the whole match. Tough first game up for the new lad against a Chelsea side that looks like it is getting back to it's best

But Brice always said he should take about a season to bed in, I'd say wait a bit longer on this one...

Don't think we will see the best off him until middle/end of NEXT season. We have to be patient with him cause I do believe he has a role to play at this club.

I thought there were clear glimpses of a confident and comfortable on the ball who once match fit and aclimatised will terrorise defences.

Bear in mind his willingness to run at some of the best defenders in the land, i'm satisfied with his debut.

For me we shouldn't be signing people who can't play from the off, him and Angleri just sit on the bench, we could just loan them out at least.

Riveros is a very good player, very tidy on the ball. It's the physical side he struggles with. He'll still be a good player for us in future I think.

As for Sessegnon, he's is brilliant and will get better. I think with Muntari and Cattermole in the side, we'll see the very best of him. He put a shift in.

What are some of Sess' strengths that you have seen so far? For example, for Newcastle, Ben Arfa is very strong at dribbling and pace, is Sess a similar type of player, I don't really watch much French football

Sess skinned a couple of Chelsea players on the left then carried the ball over toward the right in front of the penalty area, only good defending by Chelsea stopped him getting a shot away. When he saw the shot wasn't on, he laid the ball off perfectly over to the right wing.<ok>
Nice to see in my opinion as to often one of our players would have just vollied it against the oncoming defenders. :)

riveros fans from his former team say we play him in the wrong position they say he always plays infront of the back four were he dictates play from the back this was in a article i read on one of the forums , the prem seems a bit fast and physical for him at present but has improved a bit from the little weve seen of him could be allright next to cats or munt who knows time will tell
