Name your time and place and we can be there to lose. We're practiced, not as practiced as you guys but practiced none the less. We are dire and going down. The only surprise in all of this is that Ashley can't see that if he neither sells nor invests NOW then the value of his asset is going to be slashed imminently. Arsehole.
True, and despite what some Newcastle fans think it's hard to say exactly what he has put in and taken out of the club. £130m interest free loan Vs getting no payment for the mass advertising around the place - people get their back up about it but it seems a decent play off. I think I recall correctly that the NUFC shop and a chunk of the merchandising was taken away from the club so it hits our income but he's the owner and can do what he wants. He's a **** but he's currently our **** and I suspect is going to be so for some time yet.
I think so yes. In defence of Ellis I genuinely think it got to the point he thought he could do whatever he wanted as you'd magically avoid relegation somehow anyway. Ashley just keeps repeating the same **** and expecting different results.
But but but it will really hurt him for fans to stop going to games AFTER having paid him to go to games.
Anybody think that Short and Ashley are illuminarti and they are plotting to destroy North East football they are both a pair of c**ts
Exactly. 5-10 quid to publicly embarrasses himself when everyone knows he'll get it replaced. Probably already ordered
Luckily for you there's some ****ing ****e in the league this year and I don't think you'll go down. Rafa could walk in a week or two mind.
Nice one Mike it's like watching a True to form build them up then....... drop them(fans) in it "let them get on my back." Next comes the fan protests and personal insults - deafening and the replays Come on Ellis an opportunity beckons, take a risk venture capitalist style
The joke is, though, that we are both as big as United and City in support yet our owners are not interested and cannot see the potential ! Hopefully someone will. Just show them the '73 cup final and that will do it.
The problem Ashley has, and it's the same one Short had, is that to realize the value of a club you have to run it well, along sound commercial lines, and not get relegated from the top flight. We were in the Prem for ten years during which the club was a ****ing omnishambles. Why would anyone buy it when relegation was a perennial threat to your investment? Ashley's in that boat now. The mags are a few bad results away from the relegation zone and who's going pay the 400 million quid Ashley wants in those circumstances??
