I do sometimes lose track of time ie what day of the week it is during holidays. But it's not April 1st yet is it? Either that or have I missed a few months somewhere. In that case, are win the play off zone yet?
Here we go, this is proper bargain basement. QPR are trialling Hendon striker Nico Muir after several championship and League one clubs targeted him. Tuesday 16 January - Niko Muir trialling with QPR The club are able to confirm that Niko Muir is currently having a week of training with QPR although no formal offer has been made. QPR are one of a number of Championship and League One clubs who have expressed an interest in Niko following his performances so far this season. Vardy...Austin and was it Freeman or Scowen who was a postman.......You never know.. Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk
Bloody hell! Now I am not knocking the bloke as I have never heard of him however You get for what you pay for normally. It's like shopping in Harrods and then in a charity shop. What are the club doing? Surely TF can afford a bit more than this.... If not that woman who knows all the sheikh's is now not buying Newcastle.
Sunderland didn't. I read this article about Jack Rodwell earlier. If they get relegated they have a £70,000 a week player on their hands who doesn't want to play for them and will still have 18 months on his contract. This is well worth a read if you have time. http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sp..._that_has_driven_the_Black_Cats_to_the_brink/
Unfortunately it’s not what TF can afford it’s what the club can afford, and after the 3 balls up’s made last time by Redknapp, Sparkless, and Jimmy Floyd Havawank this is now it my friend welcome to footballs answer to Poundland (or less) the ten bob shop.
Sorrry Ellers but where have you been for the last number of years, the club really can't afford much these days, haven't you heard? The wages bill has effectively got to be reduced by 50%, then 50% again and then a further 50%. The club is borderline breaching FFP again this year and we are having to operate in a market where bog standard championship strikers cost £8mil upwards thanks to big spenders like Wolves, Villa, Derby, Boro, Sheff Wed inflating the market............. Some folk really don't get it
Don't think it's a case of Ellers not getting our financial restraints that our owners have messed up for us. More that you have to be that special talent among so so so so many nowadays. Might aswell have kept grego cox
I made the point in another thread somewhere. There will be thousands of coaches and football fans who could do better and more than what Giggs gave in that clip. Unfortunately due to not playing at a high level they will never ever get the opportunity. [/QUOTE]
That's fine I hear what you say. In that case if we get anyone from League 2 or above or a pretty good loan then your information is wrong? I have seen 3 players go last week so we do have enough to replace with someone more established than Niko. Or do some folk not get it?
Rarely can a player have taken so much for so little, and having completely fallen out of love with the game over the course of the last 12 months, it would suit everyone for Rodwell to walk away and make a new start. sounds familiar can we sign him
Yes he played for Hayes and I remember being at the game when many QPR were frustrated and booed him. he then went off on loan (abroad I think), came back, had bulked up and never looked back.
