RD seems pretty keen to get some capital in. I don't think we're in any sort of driving seat, and if Everton have the knowledge that several clubs want Konsa then they will test RD's resolve.

Why would Everton bid 4m after seeing us push Holmes out the door for 400k ? I'm surpgised they started as high as 2m to be honest. And we criticised KM as a useless negotiator<laugh>

Murray has been summoned by CARD to answer questions - difficult to see him coming out?

My feeling is his ego will make him talk.

I can’t see Murray facing the music. There will be fans in the crowd who will heckle him & give him a hard time when he inevitably starts bullshitting.

My hunch is he will offer CARD leaders a private chat - getting him off the hook and also giving the “Leaders” what they crave - status and the chance to feel important.

Perhaps Murray, Ben Hayes & Everitt can reminisce about the Good Old Day’s ?

    • Robinson stabbed in the back by RD (even though he was a fool to believe the Board in the first place)
    • 2 wins in 10 games - scraped against pitifully weak opposition.
    • Our best player Ricky Holmes disillusioned and gone.
    • Konsa to follow, everybody knows it.
    • No signings to come in January - Official. A couple more loanees if we are lucky.
    • No senior executives except Richard Murray.
    • No news on the takeover.
It's about time Charlton fans said enough is enough.
It's about time Duchatelet was reminded how much he is reviled for how he is treating this Football Club.
It's long past time for another protest.

All true Lardi - but this isn’t a protest.
It’s Rick Everitt (look at his posts today on CL) wanting to harangue Murray in the car park in front of an audience. It’s all about Everitt again, he loves a megaphone and a audience.

What happens when Murray doesn’t come out ?

Ffs Mr van Gerwen, have a day off regards Everitt.

If I was able to pick up the megaphone, hard as it is as big as me, would you then think differently?

I'm not too sure about what this will achieve but it would be good if Murray faced the music and made himself look more silly than he already does.

I mentioned Everitt because he is behind it - as you will see when you log on to spam
    Charlton Life later <laugh>

It’s a bit of a no brainier for Murray really ...

‘Shall I accept the offer to go into the car park and be publicly harangued by Everitt?”

Sir Rick Everitt is mugging Murray off with his comment on communication with the fans.

If Murray does not come out I guess the crowd has a bit of a chant, chucks a couple of bog rolls at the windows and then disperses - either into the ground to watch the remaining fit members of our depleted squad take on Walsall, or off to the pub.

It was bad enough being mugged off when we were protesting.
Now fans just sit there and watch while the team fails to control the game, and only reacts after the opposition have humiliated it.
Even the North stand has lost most of its defiance.

The irony is they were happy to accept a Duchatelet style player policy when they were on the inside.
Murray's mantra from 2004 onwards....'every player has his price'....sign players that have "sell on value"

Duchatelet has accelerated sales, but it's nothing new.

Just read the CARD statement. Can't see much wrong with it tbh. It doesn't matter whether or not you like Rick, I'm fed up with Roland dumping on us from a great height, and Murray is colluding with him, so let's get it on.
