I don't think he's been on TV for years. My lads used to like watching it hence I already knew the term 'batty boy'.

 

I really don't watch much "popular" TV.
Obviously I know the character, but I never watched the programme, so I know little about the dialogue beyond the "is it because I is black?" thing.

 

Same here, although when you have youngsters in the house you catch a fair smattering of what they're watching on TV. Since they've moved out we haven't got a clue - same goes for music, there's more than a decade's worth I don't recognise

 

I'm a (very) amateur musician so I make an attempt to keep up with music. However, it's all so studio-bound and over-produced these days it's hard to actually find anything worth having a go at.

 

I did, sort of, but that was like, how long ago ? I can barely remember last week

 

And I thought my memory was bad

Thats a very good point, as i remember it his movies and shows have caused outrage, a country tried to extradite him, a bit was put out on him but he never got prosecuted.
