Just watched the end of the ****ing world ep 1. I can see why people might find it funny and i can see the dark humour written all over it. Might give it an episode or 2 more but not finding it funny myself, maybe a bit too dark. Mind you its not the gore as i loved Dexter seasons 1-5
It's a dark comedy not really funny and there's not a lot of gore, just a short well done show and just a one off so well worth seeing through. 7.5/10
yeah but i mean if i'm not finding it funny after the 2 eps should i be giving up on it as evidently the humour isnt for me?
I don't think it's supposed to be funny, I didn't laugh at it. Some of it was amusing but it's not a comedy. I just thought it was a good story about how the **** things that happen in life can **** you up.
I recently read an article about how millennials are offended by Friends because it makes jokes about fat people and Ross marrying a lesbian. For goodness sake how precious and thin skinned are some people nowadays. Friends is about as sanitary as you can get.
just finished stranger things 2. Very good for a nerd like me. Shame bob the brain had to die (also stupid how he dies, why would he just stand there) 9/10
First season was better, but 2nd season still excellent. The only thing that messed it up was that pointless sister episode.
That's the film of the play that 'I' was going to play the lead of in Withnail and I Inside Number 9 was ****ing terrific again last night
Just started Fargo only up to 4 th episode but so far so good,has a feeling of breaking bad about it.
Another great bit of writing and also thought the format of going back 10 mins each time was clever and worked well.
Britannia is on Sky Atlantic from today. All the episodes have been put up so that will be a binge watch if it is any good.
It gets better as it goes on I wasn't sure about the show at about the point you're at but it improves and turns into a good story. Season 2 is my fav.
I will give it a go, if it is crap I will stop watching. Probably not as good as GOT as it does not have the budget, but if it is as good as The Last Kingdom it will be watchable.
