Forshaw is someone who can keep and pass a football. He’d be a decent signing. The Dutch guy looked promising today. Well done NW for getting him in. Pity he’s cup tied.
Pilks is becoming a regular on the bench. Warnock warming to him or advertising him? Wildschut appeared to have a steady start. What was it with the pitch, it looked to be a throw back it was so bobley. Pilks did well to tuck his goal away the way it came to him.
The pitch has looked poor for some time remote. As you'd expect it looked superb at the start of the season but has gone downhill particularly recently. It was rough for the Hull game which were very lucky to win and again against Fulham when we got stuffed - worst of all was against Preston. Didn't go to the Mansfield game but yesterday it seemed to have dried out a lot although the grass cover is very poor. Something going wrong with the maintenance maybe? Are the grow lights being used this winter?

Goal ratio of 1 in 3 but all at lower levels. Only 5 ft 8 ins so not a line leader. More in the Ward style. Has had periods of goal droughts but usually gets back in the saddle in style. Villa interested as well after his performance v then in the cup. Not sure about this one. Would depend on price. Peterboro do have a habit of bringing on regular goal scorers.

Seems like this could potentially hinge on whether Derby get in another striker - pushing Martin down to 4th in the pecking order. Does seem a bit strange that would consider selling to us. However, they have already given us Bryson!

Suppose it comes down to Colin' s view on bogle as cover for Ken, how fit mason is and when ward will be back. Could end up with 6 strikers when we only tend to play one up front.
