Seriously.....did the guy in charge of your contract negotiations fall into a coma a couple of years ago or something.
The hell is wrong with your management?
Ozil, Sanchez, Wilshere and Reiss Nelson all coming to the end of their deals, I think there are others as well aren't there?
They are letting hundreds of millions of pounds worth of talent just slink off from the club on the cheap or maybe even for nothing, for no good reason i can see.

Sorry........not meaning to rile you guys and I am not trolling. Half of my family are Arsenal and my mum knows Charlie George personally.
But now I am hearing Wilshere has gone apeshit about the new contract he has been offered as well, apparently it is ****....(I dont have any other details other than the fact that he is "beyond pissed").
What have they offered him I wonder?

Apparently he was asked to take a pay cut in the new contract. Either way it points to incompetence again for running down Wilshere's contract and not having a clearly defined plan for the player. As for the pay cut they probably think that WIlshere is excess to requirements.

Maybe the Arsenal board have finally had enough of his constant injuries and have told him he is being paid on an appearance basis

LOL I just checked and he has made 30 appearances in the last 4 seasons! <laugh>

He is lucky they are even offering him a contract! I would have **** canned his crocked arse long before now.

Gotta agree with this though, when you leave it so late, you hand so much of the power to the player. Smacks of incompetence.

It is tricky for Jack. At this stage he is more of a liability. Not mad at the club is they offer him a pay cut with performance/appearance related add-ons

That's the problem, too much indecision on Wilshere. Keep him or let him go. I'm for letting him go because of his injuries.

I think it's funny over the years pundits have stated arsenal are a credit to football and an example of how a club should operate..

In truth no one had a clue!!!!!

I think it started going to **** when David Dein left, he was obviously the one who was holding it all together.
When he left things slowly started to unravel, and its gotten ridiculous now.

Every winning person is surrounded by a winning team. When Wenger lost the people who would support and question his decisions such as Dein, it was the start of the beginning of the end.

Mkhitaryan's agent Mino Raiola: "Man Utd is not going to sign Sánchez unless Mkhi agrees to join #Arsenal. Mkhi is going to do what is best for him. He has two-and-a-half years left on his contract, so it’s his decision"

£35m + the player would be a good bit of business given the situation we are in. Cant help but think Sanchez will just wait until the summer though.
I really hope we go for his replacement now whether he stays or goes. Our wage bill will be down after Coquelin and Walcott have gone so we should be able to afford a player on good wages. Hopefully even if we get Mkhitaryan we still add another player as we will be weaker with him rather than Sanchez.

Completely agree with the comments about the staff at the club. Hopefully the new guys we have brought in go some way to fixing this.

Arsenal ready £53m move for Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as Arsene Wenger eyes Alexis Sanchez replacement
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-Pierre-Emerick-Aubameyang.html#ixzz54ISqNIAx

After Arsene Wenger's initial apprehension towards a move, Arsenal are now working to complete the deal for the Gabon striker who would replace Manchester United-bound Alexis Sanchez.

In hints of a change in power at the Emirates, Arsenal's newly-appointed head of recruitment Sven Mislintat is understood to be behind the latest move. He played a key role in bringing Aubameyang to Dortmund in 2013, ironically beating Arsenal to his signing.

Wenger has held reservations about the striker but Mislinstat believes Aubameyang will respond to a change in environment.

Mislinstat also wants to bring in Malcom from Bordeaux with Tottenham having stepped back from signing the Brazilian.

If all this is true then it's about bloody time. We've been banging on about this for ****ing ages. If it was Wenger's choice, neither would be in the frame. Thank **** for Mislinstat!

As for Wilshere i think he has to realise that with his injury record its a risk giving him a contract and that at Arsenal he will get the chances if he is fit so should sign a new deal. We can't offer him big wages and then he is injured half the time and takes a place in the squad. Thats the reason he has ended up in this position. He has wanted to stay but Arsenal have wanted to make sure he can stay fit. A lower wage deal works for Arsenal as it doesnt take up wages for players that will be available more often and keeps Wilshere at a top team where he will have his opportunity if he is injury free.

If its true its good to see a strong personality behind the scenes and the board willing to back the decisions to push the club forward rather than giving Wenger total control.

But we have to realise, if Wenger doesn't want the player(s), will he treat them fairly. See what he did to Perez. Arsene just needs to be gone and let real work get done!

I was really annoyed that Perez didn't get more opportunities in the team. He did really well whenever given the chance.

I'd hope that if a few players go out and new ones come in that Wenger will have no choice but to pick from the new players due to numbers in the squad. If they look good in training and we need results you'd think they will play. Surely even Wenger would play Aubameyang over Iwobi for example?

And if he doesnt and we don't do well enough then when he goes at least the next manager has some talent to work with!

The whole Perez saga was bizarre. I still don't know what the deal was up with that. Clearly as good and probably better than some of our forwards yet he's the one getting shipped out and the rest stay!?! Anyways, i can't see Wenger going past this year if we have a replacement lined up. He won't get top 4 and i bet Mislinslat and Wenger will have a fair few disagreements along the way which will put him off staying. He is used to being number 1 and taking orders from someone else won't go down too well. No number of Renne's will make that agreeable to Wenger!
