I never booed Nasri, Clichy, Sagna, Adebayor, Van Persie or Fabregas. Ain't going to start with Sanchez. Life is too short for that kind of ****.
I wouldn't boo Sanchez, he hasn't really made any assurances or promises to stay. He is ambitious and unfortunately our Board/management aims do not coincide with his. I hate to say it but he's making the right choice moving, he's too good to be where he is at the moment. Add to the uncertainty of the direction our club will take after Wenger's inevitable departure. I believe Ozil would have left too if he was in similar demand, but it seems the best teams aren't interested. I wonder why.
Rumours this morning are Mkhitayrn and Malcom coming in Sanchez going out. Will hate seeing Sanchez play for Utd, but if we get those players in then it's decent business.
I wont boo him - but he is a petulant little prick IMO. I have to wonder if we offered him a 20-30 million signing on fee would he stay at Arsenal? - I bet he would. Mkhitarian is a weird player. His first Season at Dortmund he was decent, second season he was terrible and his third Season he won 'Player of the year' and scored 24 goals. Basically the guy is as inconsistent as they come. Malcolm looks fantastic. Strong little guy ,tricky, skillfull, direct, great technique only 20 years old. Aubamayeng. One of the most athletic players in Europe has scored 21 goals already this Season and 39 and 40 goals in his previous two Seasons at Dortmund. Would require a change for formation to fit him and Laca together.
Well, I guess this window will see how effective Mislintat and the new team are, as opposed to Rowley and Dick Law.
I still have a lot of mates close to Arsenal and am being told the situation is as follows: Arsenal want Sanchez to go to United, because United are offering £35m plus Mkhitaryen (which is a bit mad for a player who will be free in 5 month imo), they get money and a decent player. Sanchez wants to go to City, why I dont know, whether its the whole Pep thing, or whether they are offering him a better contract who knows. Arsenal are refusing to accept City's deal and City will not raise it (£35m straight, no player), but AFC have accepted United's bid, but Sanchez does not want to talk to United and is threatening to run his contract down and leave on a free if the Arsenal board don't let him go to City, and the delay is the Arsenal board trying to persuade (or bribe) his agent into convinving Alexis to go to United. That's what I have been told from a pretty reliable source. So it remains to be seen whether they can twist his arm and convince him to join United, or whether Arsenal cave and let him go to City, or whether both parties stick to their guns and Alexis signs a pre-contract with City now and leaves for nothing in May.
Although technically Raul Sanllehi doesn't start at Arsenal until the 1st February. Some reports are saying he is involved in the Malcolm negotiations though.
Could be?... -----------------------------Cech----------------------------- Bellerin-------Koscielny----Evans--------Kolasinac -------------Ozil-------Xhaka------Wilshere------------ -----Malcolm-------Lacazette------Aubamayang---- ...Or will we be seeing ALOT more of Iwobi and Wellbeck these next few weeks.
We are linked with Draxler, Mahrez, Malcolm and Aubameyang.. this can mean only one thing.. Welcome to Arsenal Solomon Kalou.
No transfer window would be complete without being linked to Kalou. The greatest ever Arsenal player to never have played for us.
Every window you guys would get linked with him. I wonder if there was ever any truth to that, or whether it was just the "Go to" story for the tabloids when it was a slow news day.
There is chat that the new scout guy is trying to sign Aubameyang but Arsene is not on it. Wouldn't be too far fetched.
Yup - Mavroponos was not a Wenger signing clearly and it sounds like Aubameyang (if we sign him) wont be either. If this happens it could be a clear indication Raul Sanllehi now has control over our transfer business
If this is true I hope Wenger gets overruled. It's time the board and other staff at the club did there jobs and take control of the off the field areas of the club. The weakness to do this previously has had a big part of in how the club has gone imo. If Sanchez goes then Aubameyang would be a great signing.
I find it strange that Wenger isn't the main man pushing for Aubameyang to come in with Sanchez's imminent departure, if this is true. Have the management woken up and realised that for us to get top 4, we need to get some players in this Jan window?
So City seem to have pulled out of a deal. If it means we don't get in a replacement and potentially miss out on targets if he stays I'd rather we push him to go to Utd, take the £35m and put it towards a big signing. Sanchez has started to really annoy me and if he isn't going to give his all we are better off without him. In the summer I thought we should keep him until his contract ends but he seems to be causing problems now so get rid even if it's to Utd. If we can get Mhikitarian as well as £35m and then sign Aubameyang I'd be happy. Sanchez and Walcott replaced by those two would keep the squad at a similar level. Then in the summer we need to do something big.
