The FA are renowned for ****ups but this one in particular is one of the worst, considering what the "investigation" was initially about and the seriousness of it if true or untrue is a disgrace.
All parties involved will want it sorted out as soon as possible so they can do what needs doing in the aftermath and move on.

 

It appears to have had a big impact on Holgate, he was terrible on Friday.

Maybe his guilty conscience? Bobby playing with freedom, or with knowing it could be his last days at Liverpool.

Tbh Holgate was always gonna get run ragged v Spurs so it's not like he's been a world-beater up until that game.
Can't say I saw any signs yesterday from Firmino or Klopp that he was in deep ****, and let's be honest he knows what's been going on behind the scenes and never looked worried.

I wouldn't have missed that forced smile for a place at the front of the chippy queue at Goodison.

 

And threatened not to play for England if the FA did anything about it.

 

I think a few players went through with that threat for many years but still played and win nothing with England.

 

Need to fabricate some evidence to get bobby off the hook. FA can’t be seen as punished by the victim here.

Plus if they don’t deal with Holgate pushing it will escalate into more pushes that are not punished correctly.........

 

FA need to make a decision one way or the other now. Either proceed or say there is a lack of evidence and move on. The delay is taking the piss...


PS... although if this cloud over Bobby's head makes him play like he did yesterday, keep it delayed for the rest of the season
