Just ordered our tickets for this one.

A 100% MUST WIN GAME for us,if we can pull it off, then they are two points in front, lose it then we are on the slippery slope.

I hope LJ and SL have a new striker on board come Friday, simply cannot go on in the same way as we are going.

So desperate for a incoming striker.

As I said on another post I have low expectations from this game. We have dipped in form and Derby are flying - plus they will want revenge for the dicking we gave them at our place.
I can just about tolerate a defeat in this one, but we MUST start picking up points again from QPR onwards. That does NOT mean I don’t care - I’m setting expectations.
That’s my assessment for what it’s worth.

I suppose my expectations are high, due to the half season start, never had a better chance to go up,i just see it floundering away without the correct players being brought in on loan or purchase.

Why more wingers, and midfielders when we have cover,<doh><doh><doh> <confused><confused><confused>

We will have our long-term injured still out - plus their minds might be on Tuesdays tie.
I hope I’m wrong but out of all the recent games this is the one I have the least confidence or expectations from.

Anything will be a bonus after the three league defeats.

Flint seems as if he will be off to WBA invest in the striker departments with it.

    Hugill or Grabbon will do.

BS. A 100% must win game is when you're playing the last game of the season and mathematically need 3 points to achieve promotion/a playoff spot/avoid relegation.

Losing three league games on the bounce is never nice, but let's not be OTT about it. There'll be 18 games and 54 available points after this - plenty of opportunity to put together some good runs and consolidate a playoff spot and hopefully achieve more.

Losing again would suck, no arguments there, but if we did, I for one wouldn't be saying we're doomed. Ask me most weeks whether I'd take us being in this position at this stage of the season, I'd bite your hand off.

What do YOU know about Hugill? Also are you putting some of your money in to pay the 8-10 million PNE want for him?

If you want a top two spot it is Nick.

Derby are flying at the moment and our league form isn't too good and the goals have dried.

I can't see past a home win I'm afraid. Hope we don't ship too many.........

    Want*, and not necessarily.

    Harder? Yes. 100% no-chance? No.

This will be a real test for LJ. We need to consider whether to go 5h!t or bust to try for a result at Derby, compared to having a go at ‘wounded’ Man C on tuesday - plus ensuring we are ready to have a proper go at QPR next weekend.

QPR have managed to string some form together recently.

It's a tough tough league and we all know and appreciate that, but having worked so hard to get into the top 4 or so, it would be a shame to see it all fall away. The number of games recently has been punishing, but aside from the last couple of LC games, we've played no more matches than the rest of the Championship.

Can't see beyond a Derby win on Friday, but I thought the same before we played Manchester United. We also seem to play well when we're on the tellybox.

We were fooked at Villa. That was a complete let off and thankfully the fans were quite reasonable. I see no reason to expect the same tomorrow night. A tough game and maybe a loss for sure, but a 5-0 loss isn't 'acceptable' in the weird way that Villa was. If that makes sense?

We are still guaranteed 6th if we lose and the other results go against us.
All games are important and we must try to win them, but It’s next Saturday onwards that it becomes critical.
