My eldest was 6 or 7 when he came home from school and told me he supported Man Utd. I literally kicked him out the house, locked the door and kept the key in my hand (the mrs would have let him in).

Obviously I let him back in after a couple of minutes. Told he could support any team he wanted so long as it wasn't Man Utd or Chelsea. Did the trick.
