It's only logical. 1 goal against Fulham followed by 2 against Watford so 3 against Spurs..... What could go wrong?
If we're losing 2-0 at half time we should bring an old song back for a constant twenty minutes or so in the second half: Ignore the first 15 seconds or so.
To be fair, in the space of two whole games, JWP is now closing in on being our top scorer this season.
It's funny I was thinking about this earlier today and seem to remember a few fans getting bored a couple of seasons back with what they called mid table mediocrity. Little chance of European qualification and no exciting relegation battle. Well, careful what you wish for. Personally, I still love Saints and will support whoever is in charge and whoever we put on the pitch. Looking forward to next week to see a good Tottenham team (I actually like them again now) and a remote chance that we might pull off a surprise. I know we'll have a decent first half. And the half time drink will hopefully numb the pain of the second half. As long as I see plenty of effort, I'll enjoy it.
Score early and sit back, conceeding in the 88th minute to draw 1-1. Les Reed does a double page spread after talking about it being an incredible moment, the success of the black box and MP getting a new 5 year contract
If I was having a bet, that's probably the outcome I'd check the prices on. I'd much rather we were 0-0 with ten mins to go, than 1-0 up at any point before that. If that makes sense. 1-0 home win. **** Spurs.
I'd take a draw now! Wiould go in defensive, try and hit on the break but have a bench capable of changing if chasing the game (I know that something MP isn't capable of doing) McCarthy Cedric-Stephens-Yoshy-Hoedt-Bertrand PEH-Romeu-Lemina JWP Long
