His stats at Leicester are 4 goals in 11 league starts since signing permanently. Not too bad. 12 in 27 when on loan. The rest of his appearances are as a sub so don't know how long he was on the pitch. It isn't a terrible record anyway.

unsure on this one. is he too dissimilar to what we already have?

weren't we pretty close (well, linked) to getting him last summer before he went to leicester?

I'd take Waghorn on loan for the rest of the season with a view to a permanent. Buy le Fondre, see what happens. Loan out Simpson, then you've got 4 in your face attackers, and a cart horse (Adebola) to wheel off the bench should the situation require. Competition for places, pace etc. Waghorn looked quite quick and direct from what I've seen. With Stewart out and Brady finding his feet, we need a striker who can run with the ball at pace. Fryatt is technical and can dribble, but seems lacking in the pace department.....Sorted!

if we can get him on loan with an option to buy, great. if not go for le fondre and get it done quickly.

remember we also put a bid in for charlie austin when he was on form in L2, our bid was declined and in the end burnley got him for slightly more than we offered.

The Saints fans seem to think they're going to get Waghorn for £1.5m.

Korens been crap, Evans is a right midfielder, and Cairney needs to start picking passes that hurt the opposition not little 2 yard sideways passes

And this is the type of idiotic fans we have to deal with.

Evans is not a right midfielder, never has been, never will be.

Cairney keeps the ball moving which is important when the other team has 10 men behind the ball. When a player closes Cairney down, he passes sideways and then there will be a gap behind the man that closed Cairney down. It is up to a player to move into that space and the player who received the ball to make that forward pass into space.

If the movement ahead of Cairney wasn't so **** then he'd be able to play a forward pass when he received it.

It's simple pass and move that 90% of KC do not understand.

WRONG. I think you will find that uis where he plays for Ireland. He plays well there. Check out the highlights. Maybe worth a try playing him on the right. But i always say if you are good enough you can play anywhere.

Ah so that's what Ash and Harper were doing, why did we ever have geo in the team? They do far, far more, just passing it sideways.
