Don't even think the fat turd is in it; pretty sure it's Barnes, as I understand the chopper landed in Sussex.
Ashley wasn't. Barnsey rubble was though. He was sitting between Charnley and Ashley's PR bloke. Probably giving them both handjobs.
For Kane and Ronaldo ? hehe. Mike and Ellis will be having a drink and a laugh together somewhere the tight fisted twats.
A bit of Ski Sunday going on in there, no doubt................. i bet Wodger would love to have seen that.
It's truly very, very, very, very, very very, very strange. There's been so much rumour and "itk" saying the deal is done or all but done. Yet the lack of substance has been incredible. I cannot understand how there's absolutely nothing to report, how there's no comment from someone at the club at all, whether that's about investment, interested parties, etc. The latest snippet about a second interested buyer released to Craig Hope appears to have been a Keith Bishop-inspired hoax because it disappeared as quickly as it appeared. I have asked via Twitter a number of journalists how Lee Charnley is more elusive than both Tranquillo Barnetta and Rozzazinho, but no answers anywhere. I get why people wouldn't know about the deal, but we don't even know why we don't know (if that makes sense). Usually you'd be able to say things like "talks are progressing, that's all we're willing to divulge" or something. The fat bastard happily talks to "Craigy" about putting the club up for sale, why can't he release one ****ing statement to the same bloke with even just a shred of light as to whether he's likely to **** off or not? I don't know what journalism entails these days, I guess we're no news-worthy enough for anyone to spend time tracking these people down. The local journo's are miles away from the action, but doesn't anyone in the press have the ability to tap up the likes of Richard Desmond (he of the menage a trois at the curry house pre-Xmas) and say "come on, mate, what do you know?". As far as I can tell, Amanda Staveley, Craig Eadie, Justin Barnes, Lee Charnley, Keith Bishop, Mike Ashley, Richard Desmond all know something, extremely odd that nobody else does. Ashley is a **** of the highest order, of that there's no doubt. I used to live in the same village (Burnham) and a friend remembered going to school with him (Burnham Grammar School) and without having the faintest idea of his involvement with football said he was a ****ing horrible kid.
A mate of mine was speaking to bobby moncurs son at the weekend and he says the deal is done but they people taking over haven’t got Man City type money. No idea on when it will be announced. Only passing on the message. I would have asked more questions but I left the pub before he come in.
Its frustrating to say the least but this is typical Ashley...getting information out of him is like getting the proverbial blood from a stone. As fans, we are now playing the waiting/guessing game once more.
Its been said on here before, if the potential buyers did have Man City-type money, they would have bought the club almost there and then, no quibbling over a disputed £50million or relegation clauses. It would have been business done, simples.
See? Another one!! This is what I heard and is the only thing that makes even a modicum of sense. The clueless-ness about budgets, incoming, outgoing, Charnley - the Chief Exec - not able to sign off deals; it all smacks of a club in stasis, a company either shutting down or being taken over. The nature of this taking so long has got the nerves jangling. But let's also consider that teams like Man U, Everton and Spurs borrow from banks, it's usual. Most teams benefit from commercial arrangements, it's usual. We don't do either. Mike has us stitched up with SD paying nothing, a huge limit on our commercial capability and significant restrictions on speculating to accumulate. We don't necessarily need billions to be a good, progressive club. But we need an end to the uncertainty if we're to secure PL status. Another date for the speculators - Rafa said 20th Jan could be significant.
The day he walks! Tbh - I think he will see out the month but if we lose to City, Norwich/Chelsea and Burnely with no one through the door I'd be off as well.
Just passing on what I got told by my good mate. If it’s not true never mind I will get over it but there’s no reason why moncurs son would lie to him.
The deal has fallen through due to the NDA being broken by the owner of the Indian restaurant, he let it slip that Ashley and Mandy did a runner without paying.
