The UK is now the only country that does not have flights to and from Sharm. The Egyptians say it’s a safe airport but the Foreign Office says it’s not.
Good to see investigative and relevant journalism is alive and well. Just had a quick look and it's wall to wall breakfasts, burgers and kebabs, oh and Gino the ex-offenders new crap restaurant on Bransholme.
please log in to view this image completely off thread but this has just happened in Turkey - skidded on ice on runway and nearly into the sea - bet the pilot **** himself
Agreed. With regard to the latter, I remember wincing at the stories about her previously and those ghastly looking vids (never clicked to confirm). When she announced she'd won the money, I actually thought nice one. Clearly, she has some understandable self identity/worth issues - hence the craving of attention but I also thought that someone has to win, better it be from Hull and also she's probably been through a ****-load and is bound to have a tonne of nob-head haters. I thought it'd piss those ****s off too. But, since the win, every ****ing day we've seen some braindead quasi z-list announcements which are seriously revising my initial thoughts. Just enjoy the money, enjoy your life and stop updating everyone of every ****ing thing you do.
Mate, we aren't doing politics and that's that. Whenever we've done politics, this place turns to dog ****. It's a very good board this and you clearly think the same. Why spoil it?
That post came under the definition of politics as it refers to political decisions. Yet OLM issued no warning. I am calling for consistency.
Credit the Boeing design teams in the 1990s and the service teams that have worked on this plane for the past 20 years. That you can do that to a plane and have no casualties is a testament to their brains, skills and continued endeavours. Bravo lads and lassies.
Don't forget the photographs of anazing nights out in Hull from years gone by. Apparently amazing nights out consisted of standing together and smiling rather sheepishly and self consciously at the camera. And the lists of things you can only do in Hull. Like going to a Hull pub, club or cafe.
Should have had winter tyres. On a more serious note, that's why you should always have your seat belt on even if just driving around the airport. Wanted to put taxi-ing but can't spell it.
Really pisses me off when people undo their seatbelts as soon as it lands, despite the ****ing reminder from the crew. I’ve often thought that I hope it crashes now.
And why does everyone immediately stand up and remove everything from the overhead lockers then stand squashed and uncomfortable in the aisle for the next 15 minutes, once the seatbelt sign is deactivated? It's frigging obvious that you are not going to be able to disembark when there's no steps or ramp positioned and no ****er's opened the ****ing doors.
Presumably because they get pride of place at the front of the immigration queue (or would if they didn't have to get off the plane and onto a bus, meaning that they are last off the bus).
And why do people stand in a queue for 45 mins once you’re called to your gate before they start letting any fooker on? Your seat is already allocated, you could down another 2 drinks in that time you massive prick.
