Remember doing that too. At my primary school footballs were banned in the playground so we had to make sock balls. Basically what they sound like. Loads of socks rolled into a ball and the last sock sewn shut over the top. They were hellish in the rain

 

The golden rule would be never play with socks with spuds as they **** them up.
