For me, when we were promoted to the promise land it felt a really good opportunity to get some healthy money to save guard our future, and positive way of keeping our best players. Now it feels like the money doesn't matter, and the players go anyway. I no longer fear the Championship. Perhaps the new owner needs this test.
Yeah, whatever. It was still an atrocious decision, absolute dogshit from the ref and lino. And it cost us 3 points.
Totally unfair that there is no provision to right a wrong, in this muti-million sport. Watford should be docked the one point, and we should be given two more. If after match tv/video evidence can be used for disciplinary action for ott fouls and other misdemeanors, then why not this, to set a precedence that cheating does not, and will not, pay. Roll on the VAR, bring this sport up to date. if it extends the game by a few minutes, then so be it.
I went years ago, not with Saints though and didn't go on the terrace Does it still have a pub on every corner?
If that handball goal hasten's Pellegrino's departure then I'll be happy...Our second half display didn't deserve the 3 points anyway.
Yeah, i'm warming to the idea of a fresh start in The Championship, but it MUST be with a new Manager and a few new players.
The Brighton game. WBA is three days later. But yes, I get your point. Throw in the fact that it is, as you say, the closure of the transfer window then, and that week immediately after the Watford cup game is monumentally massive. Could potentially decide our entire season. We have both highlighted time and time again the difficulty of our fixtures at the back end (and with no transfer window open).
More likely to hasten our prexit unfortunately. Can't see him going. Our overall performance deserved the win.
Who do you think is to blame for us being totally dominant in the first half to a gibbering wreck of a team in the second half RAWMOK?
Let’s not forget the cheat that deserves to be banned for a considerable amount of time. Doucore even had the cheek to tweet after the game “this great level, of commitment will get us the points” What a ****.
Good question saints alive and who should get credit for an excellent first half performance. My answer to that would be mp and the players. That too would be my answer to your question. The players and manager are the ones who can influence a result once the whistle has blown. Watford were forced into their changes, 0-2 down at home, as anyone would expect had nothing to lose and had to press. Did we counter that? Not very well but on another day bar a cheated equalizer ,that would have gone down as good resolute defending.
We really weren't gibbering wrecks. Ive seen us gibbering wrecks this season, we were pretty composed and calm for most of the 2nd half. Watford were the ones who really changed.
If it happens.. ? Can only hope so ... Am hearing a fair bit about Jrod , but not much at all about Doucore.
