Absolutely. Though I still think Gabbi can play as a one if we adapt our style of play to him. Would be better as a deep two coming in to the ball though. Not that either of those seem to be an option though.
Not defending the officiating. It was awful and if you cant see that then you dont deserve to officiate at the top.
Exactly, for what it's worth I agree with saying that we shouldn't use it as an excuse and said as much earlier.
Yeah, I do understand why it is frustrating to concede a goal lile that so late on - but we should be able to see a 2-0 lead out. Good to see JWP bag a brace anyway - got to try and take some positives!
Because we are incapable of using him to his strengths. We knock high balls into the box rather than balls along the ground into the channels for him to run onto. Heading is not his strength
Some posts though (not yours), have been along the lines of 'stop whinging, why can't you support the team' - ok I'm paraphrasing - which implies that you can't do both.
Maybe only one person though. I’d say for the first time in a long time, nearly all the fans know the problem.
Said after Palace it is strange that bar a couple that everyone unanimously agrees... A not606 first I reckon
in my humble opinion we went with a whimper in 2005 - thanks HR - no comparison to the far less talented team of 99 # guts
Honestly, at this point the defense is a bigger concern than the attack. Yeah, we struggle to score goals, but we have surrendered 19 goals in our last 10 league matches. The attack is (barely) enough to keep us up, but our inability to keep the ball out of our net is what might see us relegated.
A defensive minded manager that can't set a team up to defend. Individual errors and players out of position. At least if you're going defensive make sure you can execute your plan properly.
Here's the fun: we're almost definitely going to lose against Spurs. That means that our decision to keep him is almost definitely dependent on the West Brom game...which, oh yeah, happens to be on the final day of the transfer window. We're totally going to make signings with him in mind and then kick him to the curb, aren't we.
