So this could be yet another season where you lose?

That's for everyone else to worry about (according to pundits leading up to the Liverpool v Man City game)

'Leipzig director Ralf Rangnick said. "We won't allow Liverpool to sign him early."

And he confirmed: "They have shown renewed interest to bring him in during this transfer window.

"As everyone knows, we are not a selling club, therefore it would only have been possible had we reached a mutual agreement involving an exorbitant additional fee. That is not the case."

Meanwhile, Leipzig tweeted: "OFFICIAL: Naby Keïta will remain an RB Leipzig player until 30th June 2018. We wish to put the speculation about a January move to Liverpool to bed."'

Good. Now go and buy a keeper and attacking midfielder.

Bit of a nothing article imo, he's had some injury problems and has taken a while to get fit again, when fit he plays well and his overall stats will improve with game time. It's only other fans who lay into him and call him rubbish.

I’m happy for Naby. Just needed to stay fit and get a run of games. The guy will be a phenom for us.

His earlier period with, I do feel he suffered under the weight of expectation, I dont think signing him and loaning him back helped, it just built the excitement surrounding his arrival.

I dont think many people doubt his ability but his luck with injuries has been abysmal and it's this that had led to disappointment rather than performances.

Now I just think most hope he can put a good run of games together, the quality will then shine through
