Sissoko just doesn’t know what to do with a football does he?
Sometimes he makes such good athletic runs, but even a simple 5 yard pass goes to ****. <laugh>

NBC commentator was very astute at the end.

He said that Sam may have lost the mind game
and not played a Sam-esque game today given
Everton have a points gap to the relegation fight
and there have been mutterings at Boodison
    about his playing style.

Having the team play so narrow beggared belief, since it meant Aurier could maraud the right flank all afternoon unopposed while Son had a field day with the amount of time he had to choose where he wanted to run on the left and do whatever the hell he felt like.

This season has shown there are really only two options
when playing the strongest available Spurs side
nowadays : go toe to toe or do busparquet.

There is nothing in between that will prevent you losing.

Brilliant second half...earned the space by a battling first half.
Son and Dembele were excellent as was Dier, Davies, Vertongen, Sanchez and Dele.
Eriksen did ok... very good in spurts and average in other parts.
Dele has continued his improved form since Burnley before Xmas.
Aurier played well... once he gets his crossing sorted he'll be a nightmare for opposition defences.
13 points from last 5 matches and a plus 11 goal difference...Brilliant response to a terrible November and early December.
