I think it’s more having options up front and the ability to play two up front that will make a difference.

He’s said Dicko or Campbell cannot play a full game so if he starts them both together, he will have to use two subs to replace them and he can only replace them with Diomande (who just isn’t good enough as much as he tries).

 

And Phil Brown would’ve had more points on the board than either of them...

 

There's no evidence for that, Slut was getting 0.9 points/game, Adkins 1.13. And Slut was getting worse.

That was ****e, reading were **** yet still should have won with the free header . Adkins just plays same formation and makes same **** subs as Slutsky - all in all a load of ****

That was a terrible game to watch. Larsson was by far our best player and probably our player of the season so far in what has been a difficult watch at times.

 

Not odd at all, had he not been sacked there is no reason to suppose he'd have improved his points/game figure to more than 1.13.

I think we're at the point of praying that 3 are worse than us come season end...

 

I reckon 20 more points will see us safe. Goal difference could also be our saviour.

 

Theres no suggesting his PPG ratio wouldn’t have improved either.

We need a striker and 2 to feed him. We have a striker already. You can't just sign a striker and expect it to work.

 

Not having a go at you or anybody. But a striker is only as good as the passes he gets. Doesn't matter how good a striker you are , you also need to sign the two guys that feed him. Hence why prossie etc never worked.

 

But the indications weren't good, hence the sack.

 

I was really encouraged by today's game. Judging by some on here we lost, maybe I am in a parallel universe, but by the end of the match there was almost an atmosphere in the south stand, and that isn't easy to generate. The last 20 minutes we were playing well, all pulling together and we were unlucky not to get a winner. Onwards and upwards!
