I disagree. I am not suggesting in anyway that the manager had any way out, I am just saying that people are losing their **** and ignoring the players here. They were on the pitch and play a part. It may start with the manager but they are not exempt here. They must have some responsibility
Which is why I'm convinced we'll go down if nothing changes. A manager out of his depth and a group of players with no fight usually means one thing.

Yeah, I do agree with this. The only thing is that a capable manager would also be able to change mindsets and tactical plans which would then feed into the players and their confidence. They'll be as tired as anyone seeing this time after time, and it's killing their confidence. I've felt the same way about MP2 since I started getting worries after about game three. That's not to say I wouldn't have changed my mind had he shown anything, but for once, I hate being right.
You are quite right. The commentators on my stream even picked up on the tactical change. We all knew he was going to do it. We all knew it was the wrong move. He has to go.

When asked on sky Deeney said he didn’t see it as he was the one to header it on. He was asked if he thought it was handball and said no. He then said if we had VAR it wouldn’t have been given. I know. We would do the same probably, but it is blatant cheating. And Watford know it.
But we generally tend to be good for a half. We often score. Then we do the same thing over and over again. That's the manager.
Unless the whole game changes because of substitutions, the blame must rest with the players. They are the ones on the pitch and considered to be experienced players. Haven't seen this game so can't comment, but in general we seem to fold....the players need to take the game by the horns. This is what Watford did and what we could have predicted.

The fact is that Silva brought Deeney on at half time, which was obviously going to give them more threat in attack. It was so blindingly obvious that Pellegrino did absolutely nothing to counter it, until he swapped Davis for Lemina. Some of the blame has to rest with the players but that showed the difference between the tactical awareness of the two managers.
In short, yes. I would have changed the manager about a month ago (I wouldn't have appointed him in the first place because I would've back Claude), but they are stubborn in their ways. They haven't backed him in the transfer window yet, and the flaws with his management that we highlighted many games ago, are still there. Even last week at Fulham we sat back and played negatively - its just they didn't have the quality to get a goal. I feel slightly harsh on this game in isolation, because the goal was a blatant act of cheating, but hasn't been a one game issue: its been the whole season.
No, Silva took the game by the horns. He was prepared to make a substitution and a tactical change at 35 minutes, because he could see what was happening wasn't working. That was prevented by an injury, so he made it at half time. That's good game management. And, surprise surprise, it worked. Not reacting to that, well.....not reacting to anything ever at all.....is (one of) MP2s big failings.
So what you are saying then is that WITHOUT watching he game, you attach no blame to the players? Just an angry poster then. Fair enough.
They're not taking the game by the horns because they are being told not to do so by the Manager. The Manager is the one who will be shouting instructions from the sideline and installing what they work on in training all week. Our crumbling lies solely with the Manager and his lack of game management, bringing pressure on the team because we refuse to play higher up the pitch.
The art of good management is getting good results. Pellegrino has proved consistently that he just hasn't got what it takes to get earn results. We could all feel it coming after 5 minutes of the second half, 2-0 wasn't going to be enough even though we have better players than Watford and should've seen out the game comfortably.
