Two great finishes, where does he fit in though? He deserves to start.

I'm not so sure. Whenever I've seen him, apart from the goals, all he's done is try long shots and miss chances because he can't use his left foot. A super sub for this season me-thinks.

One-footedness isn't as bad as the commentators from the Bradford match have seemed to persuade everyone it is. He still has a clinical edge and a lot more to his game than shooting; his passing and dribbling is usually spot-on as well and he's no greedier than any of our other attacking players. When you play someone behind the striker, they get a pretty much free role and that's what he deserves after showing his aptitude there. Howson can play deeper and fight it out with Brown for that place next to Clayton. Tough **** but with Ramon in the team, I feel it gives us a real advantage. If he starts to get found out or less effective, bring Howson back in there.

It's got nothing to do with the commentators, I didn't once see him use his left foot, and come to think of it I don't think I ever have.

+1 for Nunez in and Howson or Brown warming the bench

I'm not on about him specifically, I'm on about one-footed players. It's not that much of a hindrance if you can create time and space for yourself, which he generally can with his good positioning and movement. It doesn't make his distribution suffer either, particularly. Lionel Messi's also a fairly one-footed player but he more than makes up for it with his tenacity and ability to work an opening with skill. Nunez can do the same for us at this level; not that I'm comparing him to Messi in anything other than a unipedal sense.

I mention the Bradford game because ever since it was played, the main criticism I hear from Leeds fans is his one-footedness due to that one fluffed chance which no-one seems to have noticed from his pre-season or international games. I personally don't think it's a very big deal.

Who gives a **** if he's one footed as long as he's got a cracking right foot.

I can thank of a certain Argentinian at Barcelona who's right fun is only used for standing on and he aint bad!

one footedness wud not be a problem if he was playing centrally, however hes been playing wide left with a reluctance to use his left foot. this means he drifts inside making our play too narrow. also he doesnt track back well enough on the left, therefore he should be used as a super sub or in a more central role

The central role suits him best, I think. He doesn't need defensive responsibilities.

It's not ven "one-footedness" in itself, it's the fact he's so one footed as to almost literally refuse to use his wrong foot whatever the situation, most footballers are able to if needed. He still needs to work on it before he is ready IMO.
