Quents .... it has been well established that your knowledge of football is not great (I'm being generous there as it's Friday and I'm in a good mood) ... so here is why Vardy becoming back up to Lukaku is rather funny... Lukaku has 10 EPL goals this season to Vardy's 9 ...BUT Vardy has scored against Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham, Manchester City and Manchester United this season. Lukaku, meanwhile, has failed to score against any of the other top six teams. So even somebody like you, with the intellect of plankton, should be able to see the irony in that?
What difference does it make? ... it's only a game buddy ... just as long as you don't miss the cut-off by 14 seconds mind
Can you imagine if it was Barca, Real or one of our Champions League regulars? ... the cynic in me suspects that FIFA would have accepted that the paper work had been sent on time but an IT 'glitch' had delayed 'receipt' and that the deal was therefore valid
Yep. You and me both, Matth. We both know that Sanchez wants to win trophies and that he’s simply not going to do that with United. He’ll hold out for a move to City. He knows Pep wants him; it’s just a matter of how much is paid. He’ll have told Sanchez, “If that greedy fcuker Wenger doesn’t agree what I’m prepared to pay, I’ll nab you for free in the Summer and I’ll put a sneaky £25m in your back bin, Son!”
No, will never happen at United. Who won two last season to City's zero. Do I even need to compare total trophies ever?
Unfortunately for Sanchez, he cannot time-travel, so banging on about United's past glories isn't really going to be much of an incentive for him, I reckon. City is the place for the modern mercenary.
Which was my point about him 'winning' an instant trophy. i.e., this season, with the league. I'm sure he'd derive much satisfaction for his meagre contribution to it, bravo. Beyond that though, we're back in the game. With Sanchez on board we'll also be going at the CL this season.
