In a really positive mood. I think it's all going to be alright!! Wenger will bring people in, that will boost the team, the suspensions will be over, Wilshere will eventually be back, and by Christmas all this will be forgotten :)

For tonight, Chesney is quality, Sagna one of the best, Vermaelen looks great, the defense looks more assured and didn't concede in their first 2 games, Song AND Frimpong are available for the game, Ramsey is due a good match, Theo is always a threat on the counter, Gervinho looks a good player, and RvP can turn a match in an instant! Plus Arsene will be on the bench :)

Tonight The Arsenal show everyone that they're not down, and they're not out.

    Who'se with me!?

Optimism is always good mate, reality however is a whole new ball game.

I believe tonight I shall take a heavy dose of optimism and be positive. I think we'll not only go through tonight but will win at Udinese too. Boom baby!

JJSB - love the optimism but I have two huge fears with the current squad.
    1. We look like conceding every time the oppo come near our half
    2. We don't look like scoring

Not an ideal recipe for success, let's just hope I'm being unfairly pessamistic.....

Well duh! I said I was being optimistic, not realistic.

On a positive not though they must score and we will have a stronger squad at our disposal than we had on Saturday.

@Bondstar - I am with you buddy, sick of all the doom and gloom arsenal to cake walk it 3-0 baby. Game is on at midnight here but will still be all over it AND I think come 31st Aug 11:59 pm we will all be pleasantly surprised.

    1. Conceded the lowest number of goals from open play last year in the league - if it's not a set piece, it's not going in!!
    2. They scored last week :) This week Udinese have to come out and attack if they want to progress, and Arsenal are deadly on the counter, especially now they have Gervinho so they can feed both wings, stretching the CB's as they have to cover both. Previously there was only Theo, so it was easy to take one guy out the game. Now it's both wings!!

Feel the faith guys...breathe it in...deeper...deeper!!! And relax :)
