I agree with you and Organic Red, but shady deals are one thing and pissing in the face of one of the most revered and respected men in the world is a different thing, I'm more a supporter of human rights than a lover of the Dahli Lama or a hater of China but this partnership brings LFC into the public eye/political spotlight while it's FSG agreeing the deal.

What is Mourinho playing at? Bidding for Sanchez at the last minute to hijack the City deal. It is very unlikely he'll succeed unless he pays some ludicrous sum for a player who'll be free in a few months.

Could he spend £35m for a player who is at the end of his contract and who will expect top wages? And even if Sanchez goes to the mancs, what is he likely to bring?

Can't see Sanchez going United. Think he'll be a City player for £20m this winter or on a free in summer. Can't see him going United when he wants to go city & City want him. He'll just see out final 6 months and then go on a free with some crazy signing on fee. Only thing is he'll miss out on a PL medal, but I don't think he can play CL because he's played EL for Arsenal (although might be wrong, never know about the rules on that).

 

So, Sanchez won't be allowed to leave in this window unless Arsenal find a replacement first, he can't be made to leave for a club of Arsenal's choice, he could just stick it out for 4 months and move for nothing.
