I was surprised Rafa didn't go to Everton. I know there's some pretty good reasons why he didn't but overall I thought it made sense. He's staying with us for now as he's being paid very good money with very little expectation and even if it goes wrong people will pat him on the back for trying - easy job but unless he knows something is about to happen you have to question his ambition. Love the guy myself. Actually met him in a cafe in West Kirby once (the village my wife is from is where his family lives - well Caldy anyway), will not claim to have had a long chat or anything but he seemed an amiable chap.
I had a worrying suspicion that the number of players he has in by the 20th will be the same as the number of players he has in at the end of the month. I'm just hoping we beat Swansea tomorrow and that 3 teams do worse than us this season because we are dire.
Aye there's nowt to say he is not a nice bloke but I wonder what he actually thinks working for that fat ****er it must destroy him but then again £5mill might make him feel more cheerfull
The knowledge that there are other dire teams in the Premiership is the only thing that gives me any hope. We've done the double over Stoke and West Ham and if we win tomorrow we'll have done the double over Swansea. The only other team we beat is Palace. So to conclude, we can only beat really ****e teams. We've not really come close to most "average" teams.
To be fair thats all you need to do mate to stop up but do you really want to watch that year after year I know I don't rather watch park football.
The lesson I learned from commenting on the Newcastle board would be you must ignore comments from the ones with the lower IQ , they are unable to hold their own in a debate and will always resort to the only weapon they have IE abuse, there are others that are able to give as good as they get , the difference between the two groups stands out like dogs balls , as has been pointed out here in previous posts , Haslam is one that I have had dozens of run ins with but his replies were always considered and respectful and there are others like him
Fredor if it was up to me you wouldn't have been banned (not sure if you still are?). We've possibly had more disagreements than agreements but I think we both agree that the forum works better when people can actually discuss things. I don't really like bans except for in extreme cases (people uploading inciteful images or intentionally derailing multiple threads) and even then it's often better than nothing - lets be honest the football our two teams have been serving up for the past few years isn't really worth talking about.
If only there was some way that supporters could get the team that they deserve , ( I am allowed to dream )
Hi mate its a pity there are not more mags like you, you are a credit to them, unlike their 6 fingered 8 toed soap dodgers
Aye; am all that mate. At least you've helped me proving to some people here who thought am from Leeds or wherever.
