The squad hasn't been announced, theres no word on the official LFC site. Kenny has only made a statement that there will be changes, which is understandable and expected.

Sterling was not that good against Sporting in the Under 19 euro tournament. he gave the ball away far too easily, so if he is in the quad for Exeter, he must have really bounced back well in training and they think he's worth a punt...if it's even true...

If it's true, then surely a good sign he's going to get game time this season. Such a huge talent, and I disagree about him being ineffective against Sporting, he was one of our few players along with Wisdom and Adorjan who impressed me and looked a step above Sporting's defenders. Let's not forget Sporting Lisbon's academy is one of the best in the world (said before we lost the match not after) and would probably equate to a low level premier league team at the moment.

I didn't see the sporting game, but I heard Sterling was one of our better players.

I'm looking forward to this game. I always like seeing our fringe players battle it out.

Maybe we can give them to Exeter on a free...

According to Sky text, there is a possibility that Henderson, Adam and Carroll will play some part. Suarez, Reina and Agger are certainly going to be left out,.

Maybe I'm looking for different things when I watch, but while Sterling, Wisdom and Adorjan were very active, the quality from the three of them was quite hit and miss, a bit headless chicken-y. For me the best player on show that day was McGiveron at the back and Suso and Silva when they came on. You can make all the darting runs you like, but if nothing ever comes of them, I fail to see how it was a good performance, and Sterling, Wisdom and Adorjan gave it away so much on the half way line.
