I'll have a bet that Christiansen doesn't end up the manager of a women's team. How about League 1 Larry? I knew he'd struggle there, but he was even worse than I thought. People blaming behind the scenes problems at Sunderland, but he was sacked for an even worse run at Huddersfield and their chairman took them to the Premier League. Do you reckon he's finished as a manager now? And all those arguments we had with people saying Monk got no money at Leeds. He got £50m at Middlesbrough and was exactly the same.

LOL. My position on Grayson is that I enjoyed a lot of the football during his tenure, but it was far from perfect. He shared the same problem as McAllister in that his teams couldn't defend, but at least Grayson had them scoring loads of goals to compensate. But sadly, it wasn't enough. Would we have got promoted if Bates put his hand in his pocket in January? Possibly, but we'll never know. Being fickle Leeds fans, we need someone to blame, and Bates was always readily available for that. Would we blame Grayson, or would we blame Bates? No brainer - we just added it to the list, didn't we? Larry might have nosedived trying to fit new players in. It'll always remain a mystery.
We played some fantastic attacking football but the matches we won were on average 63 - 47. Dont know how many arguments I had on the ofiginal 606 site about not having a clue about defenders, defences, coaching defenders or defencive tactics, he was too busy defending himself against Bates who caught him shagging the staff. It brings back great memories of Beckford, Bechio, Scum, Spuds, Scousers almost back to back promotions but watching Southampton, Swansea, QPR etc fly past us into the Premiership.
