We do have to remember that Mauricio knows more about players and their fitness than we do. Do I trust the manager to make a decision about subbing a player or do I trust a group of random fans that start baying for blood just because one person starts it? He may not be right, but he has more information than us. A football club is not run by a democracy...I'd hate to see a team put out by the fans....not that one would be put out....the fans would be too busy fighting in the stands.
They say the best leaders are the ones who don't want the job. Therefor i hereby vote for Fran to be our democratically elected leader of the Democratic peoples republic of Southampton Football Club. But If you lose against watford then I'm voting in jonny.
http://www.skysports.com/football/n...emouth-v-arsenal-chelsea-v-leicester-and-more Merson has gone for 1-1 draw, but says either club could win as well. Know how he feels....anything could happen....apart from a Saints win obviously.
Given up predicting a team but yet i still pick one! McCarthy, Cedric, Yoshida, Hoedt, Bertrand, Hojbjerg, Lemina, Ward-Prowse, Gabbiadini, Boufal, Long. Saw Adam Blackmore tweet that he asked about Gabbiadini and Pellegrino about Gabi playing in the 3 behind the ST. Gabi said he prefers that position and Pellegrino says he knows he can play there. I'd like to see that to be honest.
It’s the only different thing we can try with the squad we have. Tadic hasn’t lit the world on fire and boufal has had a good run.
His favoured position was wide right where he really was most effective. Obviously he is as a ST but we seem to refuse to play to his strengths.
**** that I've been waiting for this week's annual leave for ages... Might actually be able to find a stream too!
I love banging on about how crap we are and how crap the manager is, just look at my posts since I joined the forum, I've pretty much done nothing else for years and years.
We're **** Watford are ****, pretty sure the officials will be ****. Best thing about Saturday seems to be the weather which when you think about it is very unusual for this time of year.
I will also miss this game as I be watching the lion king (mother in laws Xmas present) at Covent Garden....
