I wonder why Barkley turned down a move to Chelsea in the summer when he didn't want to extend his Everton contract....where was he hoping to go? Was he injured at that point? Everton have certainly come out of this badly, but I can't really imagine this was a choreographed attempt to get a move to Chelsea but at a reduced price. After all, from Chelsea's POV he could have changed his mind and gone somewhere else for that low a price. * *I reserve the right to be wrong.

Well when they have players like Drinkwater/Bakayoko getting games I think he will get quite a few more minutes than people are expecting.
