I’ve posted this on the transfer thread a while ago, but according to The Guardian, Utd have stuck in a bid using Mkhitaryan as a makeweight.
Cracking player. He'll go to City. They will pay him more and guarantee him a league winners medal in 4 months time.
Apparently Utd will pay him more in wages than City, and let's be honest he's a money man first and foremost..... You got to feel for Mkhitaryan if he ends up at Arsenal
What's he already won though? I take it he won titles with Barca? I think he'll follow the money. Saying that he might just want to hook up with Pep again, working with Jose probably isn't that appealing these days.
Not gonna happen ... he'll take the title winners medal gimme ... in years to come nobody will really remember that he was there for less than half of a title winning season ...
Is there actually any truth in this or is it just the papers trying to ignite the dullest January transfer window since the last January transfer window?
It'll go down to the last hour as always. "Nathalie, I'm hearing from my sources close to the player that he's signing for City and that United were never interested." "Amazing Jim." "Indeed Nathalie, now get your fun bags out and let's party like it's Hogmanay!"
He's wasted at Swansea and acting like a lazy twat. You can see he's got talent, just the completely wrong type of player for Swansea. Not saying I want him at Liverpool, I just think he's a good baller but needs to wake up and start a fresh. Worth a good attacking team to take a gamble on him imo.
He was good for BM but loaned to Swansea he has put on weight and playing ****. He clearly has ability, maybe Klopp can get the best out of him?
He wasn't that good at BM, he hardly played hence them loaning him out. He did well at the Euro's and had the odd good game for BM, that's about it. I just see he has that swagger for a young lad, it's risky but someone will take another gamble on him. Do I want it to be us? Not really, but I'd take him on loan and see how it went.
