every time i have heard fontaines name metioned its due to poor defending and goals being given away. Not for me im afraid we could do much better. Sebo and martin are much better in my opinion.

Interesting. NA obviously favours Fontaine over Gorkss, so we must trust his judgement on this. I, especially, liked the fact that he wants to come..makes a change.
I am aware there is a rumour thread but I believe this deserves a thread of its own. According to Local Media in Bristol, Southampton have agreed a deal for centre-back Liam Fontaine worth £800k in immediate payment, but worth in excess in £1m after several add-ons. Fontaine is said to have travelled to Southampton last night, and he will be having a medical with Saints today, before hoping to wrap the deal today, or tomorrow. DTLW
hmmmmm will reserve judgement until I see him play - cant say I have seen too much of him but over 200 championship appearances he must be doing something right.
