If Wikipedia is to be believed, his contract runs out in the summer which makes it an interesting gamble. How it would work out I think is 50-50 ... he either fires on all cylinders and is unplayable or he outright fails. All depends on whether he's happy and molly-coddled or not. I don't think there's a middle ground with him!
Didn't realise he was so involved in that, I remember it as some dickhead wanting a pop at a footballer.
That's not the version I heard, all I'll say (that I know for sure) is that he was in there acting all big time in front of girls showing them pictures of him on google proving he was a pro footballer. Apparently pushed too hard with a girl in there who was with her partner, who took offence.
Yep, but ultimately you don't get the **** kicked out of you in town if you are calm, reasonable & non confrontational.
I would love it we signed him. I don’t think it will happen, but at least it wouldn’t be a boring season anymore!
Barnard was found not guilty at a crown court. Seaborne suffered a head injury outside a nightclub- we do not know what his behaviour before was. I'm interested to know how he acted the 'big I am'. Was anyone present when this happened?
Isn't our Mario dating Balotellis ex fiancée? No idea if there's any beef between the 2 or not, but could be interesting. Putting that to one side, I think he would be a cracking signing but as we can't offer him European football, not sure how likely this will be.
Doesn’t seem the sort of player we go for but who knows. Are his wages more reasonable these days? They used to be crazy. Bit of a mixed record but takes a mean penalty.
I saw him pull out of a junction near Liverpool, in front of another car, causing it to break dangerously. Awful driving.
I have seen plenty of innocent people get the crap beaten out of them over the years - happens relatively often
He was found innocent despite the crown prosecution service doing everything they could to suggest he was guilty. They let him take it to the crown court at great expense, so I think they must have had a good case against him. And he was found innocent. So I think he must have had quite a good defence, not just “I can’t remember “.
