Not Saying that is what we need or what i want, just that from the interviews Wenger has given it suggests that is what he is looking for. He has said recently he is looking to reinforce the midfield, which implies 2 MFs otherwise he would have said just one player and unless defense is no longer a priority (something everyone at Arsenal has stated from the start) he is still looking at CB (he said no FBs). From the rumors circulating i think it will be; Hazard, Mvilla/Parker, Jagielka. Which in all honestly I would be delighted with if it happens, i know the issue with the board and wages but all the players mentioned i believe will have wages clocking in under 100k so definitely doable. Personally if we can add a LB i would be delighted but one miracle at a time.
We've needed another CB for 18 months and a strong midfield general since 2006 - not convinced AW is in a rush TBH....
I would go with 1 centreback, 1 midfielder and 1 Forward. Hazard, M'Villa and Jagielkal would do nicely.
CB/CM/CF would be the bare minimum for me. Based on what Arsene has said I imagine we'll go for a midfielder. No doubt from France, highly unlikely to be Hazard, highly likely to leave us all pissed off.
I'm guessing by forward you mean someone in the front 3 in which case Hazard, or did you mean forward as in striker in that case who??
