I've not seen or heard anything on the news about this. Is anything actually happening?

I don't understand why they don't get on with it.
Is Firmino still away? Maybe that has something to do with it, but it casts a cloud over both players until it's sorted out.

 

I watched the sport portion on BBC Breakfast news this morning and there was no mention of it.

All football authorities are dysfunctional; FIFA, EUFA, the FA. They make it up as they are going along. What is a simple enough situation will drag on and on.

I believe if they want to ban a player for the following week they need to charge on a tuesday to give 48 hours for player or club to come back to them to appeal.

Clearly they've broken this now so firmino is not banned and we will have the whole weekend build up to the game saying racist comments firmino this.

If he scores it'll be the guy accused of racially abusing holgate scored, should he have been playing.

If holgate plays he'll be subject to the same stuff. I hope everton are playing at home too.

Really? Don't you watch much footie on the telly - players and staff cover their mouths all the time when talking, whether sitting on the bench or coming off at half time/full time. Why aren't those incidents suspicious?

He's not that bright either although as I used to hear from older relatives growing up 'he takes halfpennies' - never really knew what it meant but it seems to apply here

[I think the saying was - not very bright but he/she takes halfpennies - which I think means someone is a bit thick but you couldn't give them a halfpenny less in their change without them noticing and/or they'd do anything for cash ]

After alleged racist comments and player assault

 

No he stayed behind as far as I know.

 

If Milner covered his mouth to speak to the ref during the game, has it not struck you that at that point nobody knew of the alleged racist word used [or not]. So how could LFC have told him to do it as there may be lip readers watching [or whatever you said] when nobody was aware of anything yet

 

does feel a bit odd how little there has been in the media regarding this matter.
