Great stuff. Now they'll have to play hard.

    Wear them out Bristol.

The best team named city tonight

BC have been great. Not just sat back and defender for 90 mins but actually atttacked City.

You look at the goal they conceded and have to say its a bit nieve. 5 players pressed the defence when keeper had the ball, one 30 yard pass down the middle to kdb in acres of space and he runs completely unchallenged to the edge of their area for a nice 1-2.

Cant fault them for trying to be brave and carry on pressing city though.

Really hoping Mangala plays against us, Firm will have a field day up against him.

I haven’t seen him kick a football cleanly all game yet.

Danilo Mangala and Bravo look worse than the BC defenders!

Shame 1-1 would have been a fair result and given them a great chance back at home

At Evertons AGM tonight, it was announced by the clubs CEO, Robert Elstone, that the local council will fund two thirds of the cost of building Evertons new stadium.

Mayor of Liverpool, Joe Anderson, a rabid Everton fan, in the same week he rights a letter to the police about the transfer of Ross Barkley to Chelsea, is now promising 300 odd million from the cash strapped councils coffers, to help billionaire club owner Farhhad Moshiri, build a shiny new stadium for the blues.

Elstone does appear to not be as confident as he was when the project escalated by £100m to £300m, £500m and rising every day, if they don't start the build asap it'll be beyond their price range and be somewhere around the cost of The Emirates.

I hope they get it built, it'll be good for the city as well as Everton and will rejuvenate a derelict area of dockland.

The Mancs are playing a dodgy game with this issue, it could see supporters paying more to watch games if other clubs follow suit.
It's like the extortionate price away supporters pay to watch their team play at Arsenal, should other clubs follow Utd's stand and charge visiting Arsenal fans the same price their club charges?

Manchester United have raised ticket prices for Sevilla fans in Champions League

without the commonwealth games it looks a pipe dream.

its got to be a major concert venue to make it makes sense but manchester is 30mins by train away or so. it holds 20k or something.

    its tit for tat rubbish.

    uefa need to step in.

not for the mancs but generally as price gouging is deeply unfair.

in fairness i hope we aided them by showing our own group match ticket prices, teams make enough off tv without engaging in a 35 quid price gouge on 7k tickets to raid whatever that is.

But.......the Echo Arena is a mile away and already holds pop concerts etc so they wouldn't have a free run at it, they'd be competing.
