We were just remaining static for the first ten years. I'm looking forward to Arsenal being in the wilderness for 20 years or so now.

Spurlock and Hoddle is a god like this.

Also, don’t try to discuss anything regarding Spurs with Pixie. He, too, reverts to an über bell.

Mind you, discussions regarding Arsenal are also off the cards with Pixie. As Wenger’s bastard love child, he has a complete lack of ability to apportion any blame to club, manager or players.

Is 'remaining static' another way of saying you were **** ? <laugh>

As for us being in the 'wilderness' even in the last few years when we've been well below par, we've still pissed all over you in terms of trophies won :)

I know but it's the duty of those of us blessed with a few brain cells to help in the education of those less fortunate

  6. See, that is the kind of suggestion that Pixie cannot even begin to contemplate!

You’re better off having a discussion with G4E, as he knows Arsenal are pants. I’m surprised that Pixie hasn’t hounded him off the site yet tbh.

    Yes!
I mean from now on. Of course you've won more trophies than us as you've had more expensive players funded by your long run in the CL. That's all going pear shaped now....

Let's see how that pans out. We missed out on the CL by 1 point last season, the first season for 21 years. Admittedly there is more competition for the Top 4 now and Arsenal aren't guaranteed a spot anymore. Neither are Spurs. Your big issue will be holding onto your top players unless you can actually win something, as Kane has indicated this week .

  9. I hear you, brother. However, some people are simply too thick or mentally lacking to engage in any kind of sensible debate.

  11. It’s going to be a hell of a lot more this season!

Arsenal is in a downward spiral, just as I predicted.

I agree. Arsenal still have a lot of advantages over Spurs and it's still more likely that you will get back into the CL and we will miss out. We just need a bit of luck to get the trophy that will make all the difference.
Having to sell Kane wouldn't be the end of the world. The price would be ludicrous and would allow us to improve the squad.

I don't think it's guaranteed for any team other than City, Utd and Chelsea to be honest (coincidentally the biggest spenders) That 4th spot is a proper slug fest between us, you and Liverpool now.

As for Kane, sure you'd get massive money for him, but can you really replace a Harry Kane ? Would a similar calibre player come to Spurs, especially if you're not winning trophies ?

It's been difficult for Spurs, they have built a team that could challenge for the league with one or two players added but the stadium thing has got in the way. The stadium was essential though if they were to continue challenging at the top so they were ****ed either way. Long term it's good for the club but the timing was terrible.

Yeah they could have done with that coming around 2020ish instead really but obviously couldn't put it off. Like you say the timing was unfortunate in the end.
