There are three types of people in this world; those that can count and those that can't!

My guess is that Gomes, delefaue, Dennis Suarez, alcacer, turan would be 5 of them.

He grew up supporting the club and has been with us since the age of 10. And he is a very down to earth person who has the wisdom to realise that 100k a week is more than enough to get by. That type of player is extremely rare. When was the last time a local boy came through a team's academy and reached an elite level playing for the same club? I always wondered the same about Gerrard. What was it that kept him at Anfield through some pretty piss poor seasons? He was very close to joining Chelsea at one point wasn't he? What made him change his mind?

You're living cloud cuckoo land if you think Kane doesn't see other players not up to his current standard and status getting over twice as much in salary as he is.
The lad has already stated that Spurs have to match his ambition (win trophies) or he'll reconsider his position.
Must admit we've been citizens of cuckoo land ourselves with regards to believing some of our players were loyal, but money and the better chance of winning silverware elsewhere turned their heads.
It'll make Kane's departure (if it happens)a bigger shock if you keep closing your eyes to the very real possibility he'll be in Spain when contract renewal gets nearer, unless you think Spurs are going to win big in an era when City look destined to dominate.

PS, Gerrard's mind was changed by putting his wages on par with those of Utd,Chelsea and Arsenal and later on City.

Well.... thanks but the daily.fail.could just be copying Guillen ballague.

I reckon they might shift 3 or 4 but not all of them cos not all are movable now.

Rafinha hasn't played at all since a serious injury so he can't be fit?

I know vermaleon played recently enough filling in.

Masch is meant to be going to china or argentina or 1000 other places

I agree. There's no player in the world who doesn't know their earning potential. Their agents make damned sure cos it directly affects agent's earning potential

My view on gerrard was backlash against him shocked him and it was only over 5k. I think he basically would have had a far more glorious career if he'd gone from his perspective but I'm glad he didn't go. Bastard G&H ruined the second half of his career IMO.

    Thats sounds great.

    1. gerrard was talking 5k extra on that contract
    2. gerrard won cl with lfc and that was a factor. he said how could he leave
    3. gerrard saw at best shirt burning and at worst there are loons who would threaten you ala barkely if you dared leave.. or your family. Well known fact that he had a deal with a local gangster to protect his house and family.

Is kane talking about 120k to 250k. double his money to stay. why won't spurs pay it as he is worth it.

I really don't think kane is exciting the big european teams. Real and barca etc. I think he's obsessed with having a long career and his level of pace suggests he can do a teddy sheringham. so whoever gets him will have 10 years min out of him.

IMO spurs just have to show how much they value him here. Levy has shown he is shrewd in getting these guys to sign renewals regularly as thier value goes up... but the end of that road is here.

So Utd look like they going to get to us in the end
Not that it was rocket science but two seasons back It was obvious Ford was going to Barca - not if but when.
Script is written here - Utd gonna break bank to get Bale - prob 80-90 mil
Real will then go all out for Salah
    Not an if
We need to start making that transition to a club that wins as this will never stop :(
We may get another season but I doubt it
    :( oh well

the fee starts at 300mil mate.

real can do what they like and the poress can wirte what they like but bale aint going for 84mil to utd. they can double that for a start.

If they want slaah fine, we can never stop it but no release clause and such so... well.. the fee will be higher than neymar.

Hope you are right and you have a great track record :)
I accept that the players will want to move on as it stands
That needs to change though - and that will only change by winning things
As others have said it is a compliment these clubs are coming in
And it’s healthy we have had quite a few in recent years.
Is it something we can’t ever change now - is la ligament to big a pull now
    Ronaldinho left Utd ?
Is it the wages - will city lose say de brine to Barca
I think the answer is no
De brut e is a better player than Salah so y no interest from real ?
