Thing is though, if Holgate did make a genuine mistake it's hardly likely he'll admit it now, it's gone to far for that, so it'll come down to interpreters and witnesses and one players word against the other.

When Ian Wright said Shmichel had called him the "N" word it was ignored by the FA because their were no other players in earshot when the remark was supposed to have been made, if Lord Ousley and his organisation would have been around back then would the FA have acted differently?
I doubt it because the Utd manager at the time had to much power and influence in the game and the FA were ****bags.

Yeah this **** should be gone. Leaving aside the case at hand (which is what he should have done)

His reaction to Sinclair was a disgrace. Actually convicted in a court. But it's ok because he held his hand up ( what choice did he have ffs he pissed in a police car while accusing them of racism and continued to do so into the station! )

It's exactly that attitude that gives the campaign a bad name now.

White racist? "Bad! .lose jobs!" Etc etc

Black Racist? "Mweh we don't think it really exists or at least is provoked by well, being black in an unfair world."

He closed it for two reasons - abuse he was getting and homophobic slurs he tweeted repeatedly <ok>

So Holgate obviously understands Portuguese, or if Firmino used racist remarks in English the ref, the linesmen and the 4th official would have heard it through the mic system, the surrounding players would have heard it and Firmino would've already been found guilty and banned.
The fact that he isn't makes it look like the interpreter used by the FA will have the final say.

Pity Coutinho wasn't playing as he'd have surely been close to his mate during the altercation and been a great witness and interpreter. Firmino doesn't have much English does he. I've never heard him interviewed because he can't speak English, seems highly unlikely he'd use a language he can't speak and know the word in question.

Apparently they ae trying to get firmino to say something stupid by interviewing him before they lay charges.

They are all desperate for him to say something they can use against him cos they have no evidence.

    No recordings
    no camera angles
    no officials heard it
no other player actually heard it that reacted with holgate.

So the FA are bricking it right now for fear of being accused of being soft on racism so they hope to interview a guy with poor english and just nail him on something :)

no racism there just #brexit attitude

Mweh....if he didn't say it. Have a prepared statement and don't deviate. This is what I said and it wasn't that.

    Repeat.... repeat...
    Repeat.

IF, Firmino never used racist language it's to late, he's already been found guilty because hes a Liverpool player, by being from the same part of the world as Suarez, and more importantly by social media, if the FA say there's no case to answer there will be a massive outcry online, they want a lynching.

On the other hand, if he's guilty he deserves his punishment.:emoticon-0105-wink:

needs a soliciter to absolutely grill him internally and be 100% certain of every single word right through to when the final utterance occurs. give FA formal statement and transcript and dare them to contradict it.

should be ****ing simple. I could do it as of now with the guy. 95% of what he said is clear, so what was his bobby, and what was this word bobby. and how badly hurt were you bobby. and you had no intent of ever hitting him right bobby.

    etc etc

Yup. Give prepared statement detailing his version of events blow by blow.

Only line after that "my client refers you to his previous statement"

It's common sense.. .even if lying. My mate used to make up these long winded stories with his girls to cover ****. Always got found out as he could never remember what he'd said and to who.

Keep it simple and as close to truth as possible. I have literally convinced people my version of events to point that though they were there, when nostalgia hits they tell my version lol...even did it as an experiment once and inserted myself gradually into a story that I wasn't even actually involved in! Everone that was there now remembers it with me front and centre lol. I have now tried saying I wasn't there and get argued against that i was.

    Human mind is playdo

    Yes yes.....im a psychopath lol
