Have you checked the local members of parliament? They are all Conservative unless you mean the scummy areas of Luton.

Much bigger areas. Local to Watford the Tories do not hold sway. Not a single councillor in Watford, which shows how they have lost the confidence of the population. At one time within my memory it was quite right wing, but people know better these days.

All of the serving MPs in Hertfordshire are Conservatives, it has been that way since 2005. That will mean 17 years of Tory control.

The Herts county council is made up of 51 Tories, 18 Lib Dems and only 9 Labour following the 2017 election.

The Horns should be playing in Blue instead. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Our supporters that live in Buckinghamshire are in even better company. Their county council consists of 41 Tories, 4 token Lib Dems, 3 independents and 1 lone Labour councillor. He has been elected to make the tea for the rest of them.

Today I spotted that anonymous people in Westminster had been altering Wiki pages to remove potentially embarrassing information. An example was for an MP who was being touted to take over from Hunt in the health department. Reference to her husband was changed from is a director of Virgin health care, to was a director of Virgin health care.
Nothing to do with our Dan I assume.? :emoticon-0102-bigsm

A sensible government move responding to clear public opinion. Meanwhile the Labour Party and Lib Dems continue to come up with policies which ensure they never gain power. duh!

Theresa May's reshuffle chaos.. Daily Mail

If she cannot lead her own party what hope is there that she can lead the country?

It just shows how politically balanced the so called 'right wing' press is. Of course they can criticise knowing the country is safe from a Momentum lead Corbyn government till at least 2022.

Nothing to do with Labour, this is about a weak leader unable to organize a booze up in a brewery. When her own supporters from the right wing press talk about a shambles, you know her grip on reality is finally lost. It was seen last year when she called that disastrous election and thought she was so popular she lost the parties majority. One disaster after another. How long before the knives are sharpened now that ministers see that she is holding them back?

The new chairman of the Tory party had it put to him that the party was in a mess.

His response. "Not quite, I wouldn't go quite that far."

It is almost a mess then.

The Tories have certainly had a tricky since their landslide election victory in last year's local elections. It was understandable to call a GE on the basis of that success plus the PM's high popularity at the time. Unfortunately the government managed to score some own goals in its choice of policies, particularly the 'care' issue. The Labour Party should be well ahead in the polls at this stage of the political cycle, the public obviously have no faith in this bunch.

The PM has recovered well and is set to lead the party for the foreseeable future. She does need to balance the cabinet in favour of Brexit to more represent the referendum result. The Tories will govern until 2022 whoever is the leader of the party.

She has not recovered well as seen yesterday. Her new party chairman admitted that the party is in a mess, or a bit of a mess, and who has led them to that point?

Shall we both campaign for Rees Mogg to take over? The country needs somebody with a clearer vision for the future. The country has clearly shown the Tories are always the best option to remain in continuous government.
