Saiz has accepted a 6 game ban which says it all ffs. He has fallen in many peoples expectations today. From hero being our best player to spoint child zero in the eyes of many who will now want shut of him. TC decision to put him on for the last few minutes has maybe even killed the season, that was a real bad decision
Funny how people have different perspectives on spitting. Some people have it down as a despicable act whereby he should be publically flogged and banned fir life, some are a bit ‘meh’ by it. Personally I think it’s in the fairly revolting category but really, i’d rather someone spat at me than scythed me down with a knee high two footed ‘tackle’ from behind. Whichever, the length of ban is a known entity, he’s admitted it. Publically apologised. Needs a hefty fine from the club as much for missing 6 games as for what it’s for, and everyone moves on.
It’s disgusting and the length of ban is justified, I just don’t get why a player believes it’s okay to do. Thomas shouldn’t have bothered putting him on, we should have had a better team to start with but... You can’t plan for a player doing something so stupid. However it turns out we can get him a permit so he can be eligible to play against Ipswich, yet we still send him out on loan? My view is he will find the English Championship a massive step up from what he is used to. Ortas finds haven’t inspired me of late so I’m not going to get excited by some unknown... Our scouting network is a drop in the ocean to many other teams so if he was in the Bremner/Giles mould he wouldn’t be joining us and his price would have at least one extra zero on the end. Fingers crossed I’m totally wrong but if he never steps out for the first team it wouldn’t surprise me. The guy giving him the amazing write up, it’s not the same one who described Lasogga or Klich to us is it?
